• It was quiet and the bed was comfortable.
• They did not offer a shuttle to the amusement park it is named for.

“The stay at the hotel was OK. Not as nice as expected for a Hilton. It is called six flags, but does not offer a shuttle to the amusement park like the other near by hotels do. It costs $15 to park at the amusement park about one mile from the hotel. When I asked at the front desk about getting to the park, I was told it was a short walk. However there are no sidewalks, the traffic is heavy and fast, and there is no street lighting after dark. Not a pleasant or safe walk. Also the continental breakfast was lousy when compared to comparable hotels and they charged $8.95.”

• The overall cleanliness and the location to Six Flags.
• Really can't think of anything to put here.

“This was a very nice hotel. We booked this hotel for two nights for a short stay in Valencia and to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. The hotel was close to the park and very easy to find. We really enjoyed the high, vaulted ceilings on the second floor. The hotel was very clean and the wait staff was exceptionally prompt and helpful. Great place to stay and we would recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to the LA area to go to Six Flags.”

• Hotel is within walking distance to Six Flags.
• Sheets were not changed!

“After my first night I asked for my sheets to be changed and marked the sheets with makeup. When I returned to my room that evening I checked the sheets for the makeup and it was still there! If the sheets weren't changed when I asked what makes me think they were changed before I got there.”

• Nice room, accommodating staff.
• Hoped for a suite, limited dinner menu, from prior dining experiences there, know they have an excellent breakfast. Would like perks (a free drink).

“Overall the stay was very nice. Our room was very clean and user friendly with free wireless internet and a ton of cable chanels including HBO. They also had a lot of vending machines for late night snacks and drinks.”

• Location perfect for my needs and staff unbelievably friendly and helpful!
• Lots of construction on the major street out front, but had no problem with sound, just tricky to access. My entrance didn't have wheelchair ramp.

• The staff were fantastic.
• It was assumed that the continental breakfast was part of the room rate, which was not the case.

“The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, which really alleviated any potential travel stressors. It was very convenient to Magic Mountain, stores/mall, dining, etc. The only draw back is that the continental breakfast is not part of the room rate, and the price for it is outrageous. Two bagels and a bowl of cereal was $12.00 plus tip.”

• For the price, the quality exceeds my expectation. But, cleaning staff has room for improvement.
• Cleaning service was not timely & did not provide sufficient amount of amenities needed.

“Quality of hotel is great for the price. Beds & pillows are comfy. Microwave & refrigerator come standard in all room. Fitness room is spacious & has most machines & equipments needed for an overall workout. The pool is not big, but of decent size. Location - depending on what you're in town for. Very close to Magic Mountain & not as close enough to the town center (Hyatt is in the heart of that). Although hotel is location almost next door to Magic Mountain, I did not hear any noise from there - a huge plus because my kids & I were in town for a 5-day swim meet & needed to get up at 5:30 am every morning. A good night sleep was extremely important. Front desk staff was very pleasant & the little store has most items you would need - but, kind of pricey, $2 for a cup of noodles. The only critics would be for the cleaning staff. Due to the set up of their swim meet, there were 2 days when we return to the room at 2-3pm & our room was not ready. One day, cleaning staff only left us with one tiny roll of toilet paper which has less than 20 sheets on it. Overall, this is a great hotel & will definitely stay there again.”

• The air conditioner in our room works well.
• One of the breakfast head waiter could be more professional. 2:30 PM and my rooms has not yet been serviced.

“The hotel is clean. Coffee and hot water were available 24 hours, but no tea bags or chocolate were to be found. The coffee is no longer in the late evenings and early mornings. The service staff waiters, room service, can use some improvements.”

“I didn't go while Magic Mountain was open, until the last 3 days of my trip. The traffic coming from LA was terrible. Luckily it didn't affect me. That is the only thing to watch out for.”

• It was extremely close to Magic Mountain.
• There was a problem with the return shuttle from the park.

“The hotel itself was very good. The prices for breakfast were very expensive at the restaurant. After checking with both the front desk and the driver, when we called for the shuttle to come get us from the park, we were told that it was no longer available. That we had missed the last pickup time. We had been told only to call an hour before we wanted to leave (which we did). The only suggestion was they would call a cab for the 1/2 mile trip. We ended up walking back. This was the only thing that marred the trip.”

• It was a beautiful hotel for the price.
• There was a lot of road construction near by.

“This was a very nice hotel to stay at. We were pleasantly surprised by the lobby and the rooms. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was beautiful. The only drawback was there was a lot of road construction going on near by but it will only make it easier to get to next time. We would definitely stay here again.”

• Right next to freeway, a bit noisy unless you get an inside facing courtyard view room.

“A great location and good price. Service was good and hotel had all the features a business traveler needs. Only downside is adjacency to freeway and related noise. Can be mitigated if you get an insider facing, courtyard room.”

• Elevator in odd location, stairs to second floor difficult to climb.

“Very clean place with pleasant atmosphere. Rooms are bright and airy, lobby provides comfortable spaces for people to sit and talk. All customer services, i.e. business center, pool, outdoor seating, readily available. Although hot breakfast items were available, they were quite pricey, especially for those with families. All in all a hotel we would certainly revisit.”

“The location was great for our destination, Magic Mountain. The staff was very accommodating, we had booked 4 rooms and needed one handicap accessible room which was provided. The rooms were large, clean, very comfortable (the beds were very comfortable) and with great features (the microwave and fridge). Also it was great to see that the on site market carried diet/healthier type products, not just junk foods. We really hated to leave.”

The entire staff is beyond awesome and if you have a sense of humor, you will love Robin. She is totally awesome and her attitude is representative of the entire staff. The staff and management truly represent the best in the Hilton name.”

• Hotel was right off freeway & has a few restaurants nearby. The rooms were a good size with refrig & microwave.
• The hotel had breakfast but you had to pay $8.00 for. Very busy traffic getting out of hotel.

“Hotel was a Hilton but more of a moderate quality hotel. Very close to Six Flaggs and right across from Marie Callenders and Red Lobster. Could use some upgrading but overall, good for family or business who want something convenient and close to restaurants and freeway.”

• Friendly staff, very clean, great location & fantastic service.
• No complimentary breakfast like most of the other hotels provide, nothing!

“The hotel, the staff, the location all exceeded my expectations and I've traveled and lived in hotels in over 30 countries. Only disappointment was they offer nothing for breakfast without a charge. They have a full service breakfast for $10.95 but most hotels offer free breakfast in a self serve venue with great selections from hot to cold entrees. Other than that one thing I loved my stay, will recommend it highly and will be back myself.”

• The night desk clerk was less then friendly and didn't seem to speak English.

• The staff was extremely accommodating, from desk personnel to custodians.
• There was only one option for breakfast. For a large eater, it was fine, but too expensive for a modest appetite.

“This hotel seemed a wonderful value for the money, especially since we are retired and on a budget. The hotel staff was so very helpful and genuine in their attention to our needs. I also liked the care taken in choosing the room decor (artwork, bedding, etc). Having a microwave, coffee maker AND refrigerator really helped us in our 6-day stay. The restaurant was very convenient for our first night (arriving after 8 pm) but there are much better places to eat nearby for the money. Since we knew the area, we went to those places. The construction around the freeway intersection made it difficult to get to and from the hotel; I'm not sure the signage would have been adequate for the true out-of-towner. Once that is finished, however, it will be very easy to get to the hotel. One could not be closer to Magic Mountain, if that were one's destination. The pool area and another courtyard were very adequate for adults' needs; I think people with small children might have been at a loss for what to do with them. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to going back.”

• Excellent service, clean, convenient and comfortable.
• Could hear a child running in the room upstairs late at night.

“Great hotel that exceeded my expectations. Rooms were clean and comfortable with many complimentary services. Staff was extremely solicitous and efficient. The restaurant's food was above average. My only complaint is that I could hear a child running in the room above late into the evening despite my complaints to the front desk).”

• Attractive entry with convenience to decent restaurant within walking distance.
• Just had a poor experience - probably wouldn't happen again.

“The grounds and location and attractiveness were all good. I had a bad experience and that is that the hair dryer was broken and when my husband walked down to the front desk to get another one so that I could make my scheduled appointment, he was told that it would be a 20 minute minimum wait and that we could not go down to housekeeping to speed things up. Had to leave with my hair not groomed in the appropriate way for the appointment I had. Very disappointed.”

• The bed was very comfortable and often I have a problem with hard beds.
• Hallways were cold and didn't feel like there were any heat vents. The weather was cold during this visit.

“I was pleasantly surprised. I knew this hotel was older than several others in the area but it must have been remodeled because it looked as current as another hotel I had visited in September. The weather was particularly cold for southern California and they had a big open fire place in the lobby with a fire going all day and night. It truly added to the ambiance.”

“The young lady that checked us in was quite indifferent, bordering on rude. The room was very clean and comfortable, but the rooms have self closing doors, which slam quite loudly and perhaps because it is so close to a theme park with lots of families staying there, the door slamming was constant, continuing until quite late at night. For the money, it served the purpose.”
