“Saturday 04/23/05 my wife and I stopped at this hotel by chance, on our way to Mt. St. Michael from the US Militilary cemetery Omah Beach. The hotel is in the center of town near a memorial to the US Military and General Patton. The room was large and clean. The whole facility is well maintained & the hotel is a good value. The best part, was the husband & wife who operate the facility. They went out of there way to be helpful and friendly. We would be happy to stay there again.”

“The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful letting us have access to the room early am as we had arrived on an overnight ferry. The room was adequately furnished and the en suite facilities clean and with well functioning shower At 39 euros the room was excellent value and for a small amount the continental breakfast was good including extras like cheese fruit and yoghurt We found Avranches an interesting town and if we had not been moving on we would have been very happy to have stayed at this hotel for several nights as a base to explore Avranches”

“nous avons beaucoup appr''notre s'ur car les g'nts de l'h'tel 'ient charmants et disponibles. nous avons appr''d'avoir la t'vision dans notre chambre car cela nous permet de nous sentir comme chez nous. enfin, nous avons ' particuli'ment satisfait par le petit-d'uner et le bon rapport qualit'rix de ce s'ur.il est aussi tr'appr'able de pouvoir r'ver par internet avec tant de facilit”

• The Manager and reception staff were very welcoming and ready for our visit. We were a group of 6 adults, two 12year olds and a baby and everything we had requested when booking was available.

“Good efficient friendly staff. Very good position near to centre of city. Clean hotel with a good breakfast.”

• Good parking and friendly owner with useful tips for the location

“The hotel was well located and adequate for a 2* property. The staff were friendly and keen to help us get the most from our stay in the area. The hotel rooms were adequate but a little shabby although in keeping with the grade of hotel. Hotel facilities were reasonable although with the centre of town so close we did not eat in the hotel.”
