• clean,tidy and attitude/friendlyness of staff - very helpful
• no disabled shower facilities/no smoking rooms

“excellent accommadation/staff. not notified of no smoking rooms and especially when rated 4 star that not one room had a disability shower facility. All showers were situated above the bath.”

• Everything was first class, Room comfort excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, Breakfast very good. Just perfect
• Not one thing we did not like.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was the best nights sleep we had in any hotel anywhere. There was a wedding reception and evening do going on the night we were there but we did not hear one sound of it from our room. So peaceful and excellent c”

“Really comfortable stay - staff were extremely helpful. Instructions on how to get to the hotel weren't too good but that would be my only criticism.”

“the only complaint I have about the experience is the quality and choice of the dinner. I know this was a set dinner as part of a legal event but I had attended at it last year and found last years far superior, I didn't feel the dinner was of the standard that I would expect from this hotel especially since everything else including the breakfast was of excellent quality.”

• A modern,business-like hotel with friendly staff and an excellent central location, easy to find. Very well priced.
• The Blues Restaurant had good food and services, but lacked atmosphere and was noisy (downstairs bar area customers watching TV football.

“This was a good hotel offering excellent overall value. The staff were friendly throughout and gave the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. Location was good and accommodation was extremely clean, if slightly clinical. The restaurant served good food and was well-priced. However, the restaurant was slightly let down by a lack of itimacy and noise eminating from the downstairs bar area - football fans shouting at TV football.”

• It was central and of a good standard. The room was very spacious and comfortable
• The fact that I was woke up from my sleep due to the noise of the light which was directly outside the window which made a constant knocking sound!

“everything about the hotel was perfect, the rooms were very spacious and thoroughally cleaned every day, the staff were very friendly and helpfull, breakfast was lovely (the staff couldn't do enough to help at breakfast) the bar had a lovely atmosphere & we would definately book the hotel again & recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality hotel!!”

• The rooms were large and clean and very comfortable for two people
• Nothing about the accommodation but i ordered room service which never turned up

“I had a very good weekend on my visit and this was partly due to the good accommodation but i would have liked to have relaxed in the bar but it closed at the normal time which i have never found in any hotels i have stayed in”

• Clean, new, spacious, light, warm, generous space, big bath, big bed, nice bathroom.
• There was nothing we did not like.

“It was excellent. I think you can push the fact that the rooms are bigger than most. It is also worht tellig people the hotel is new, as this ensures people will not think it could be faded or not as fresh as it might be.

The staff were also very friendly, which is worth a lot to a guest.”

• Great value for money. Rooms were large, modern and clean
• Room was very chilly! And the shower, although most of the time perfect, occassionally spurted roasting hot water!

• Rooms were clean,modern and large. Beds and bedding were most comfortable and toiletries very luxurious.
• Reception staff did not seem very interested in there job and no apology for keeping me waiting while they kept answering the phone!

“I would recommend the hotel to friends as the room and appearance of the hotel was 1st rate. I wouldn't recommend a function at the hotel as the one I was at was very crowded and poorly organised with my friends having to complain on several occasions about the arrival of our meals.”

• Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All staff were very pleasant. Rooms were bright,clean and roomy.
• May be helpful to have a clearer signpost at entrance missed the entrance twice when we arrived and had to be directed by a local.

“The hotel was well situated for town centre. No hassle except for initially finding the entrance. Was not aware that the Conference and Banqueting Suite was actually hotel. However the overall experience was very positive. The restaurant was very good with breakfast to suit all tastes and appetites.”

• The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were large, plenty of pillows, shower was powerful.
• no complaints at all

“The hotel was brilliant. The bar and staff were excellent, we stayed for a meal in the Blues Restaurant in the evening and everything was clean, quickly served and delicious.”

• Best value of the hotels we stayed at during a 2 week stay in the UK

“The Park Hotel was the best accomidation we had in the UK. It was a bright, modern hotel with a helpful, attentive staff. The resturant provided an excellent meat for dinner and a very godd Scottish breakfast. The room was large, bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable.”

• high standard of building, furnishing and fittings. quality of food. performance of staff.
• none, only suggested improvement i can think of would be prvision of mini-bars.

“very comfortable stopover for prestwick airport which is easily reached by private or public transport. facilities available would make a longer stay even more enjoyable. ideal for both business and leisure travellers. outclasses some hotels which charge 3 or 4 times the price.”
