“I was booked into the Tara lodge whilst on a business trip during a busy week when all the usual Belfast hotels I'd use were full. It turned out to be quite a find - a gem of a little hotel. Not large and feature packed, but the rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are helpful, friendly and attentive and the cooked breakfast one of the best I've had (especially in its presentation). The hotels a bit out of the city centre (Donegal square, etc.) When compared to the Travelodge, jury's inn, Europe, etc., but it's only a ten minute walk and, on the plus side, the Tara lodge is closer to the botanic avenue clubs and pubs than the aforementioned hotels. I think the hotel represents excellent value. It's cheaper than even the Travelodge and you really feel 'looked after'.” Nov 14, 2005 by

“We were cautioned by a friend living in NI that this was a small hotel and therefore would not provide what we were accustomed. Not true small but very nicely run, good size room, very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, a great value would recommend highly. We will return!” 4 of 5 people found this review helpful.May 17, 2005 by
