• Clean room suited needs for overnight stay. Staff friendly. Cooked breakfast good quality.
• Only minor complaints-Teletext did not work on television. Water pipes a little noisy when people washing, would have liked more pillows.

“Located approx 35 min walk to centre but good bus links. Would stay again.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness is excelent
• Some poeple might say that the decor is a little dated i prefer to call it traditional, a minor detail considering you stay in a hotel like this to sleep

“The online directions were a little of track, it just never mentioned there were some small junctions and roads in between the main junctions referred to, once you realised that it was fine.
Ideal location, near enough to walk into town and far enough for a bit of peace and quiet.
Brilliant”

• Convenience of en-suite facilities. Clear guidance on emergency procedures. TV. Cleanliness. No parking grief. Trouble taken
• Just one thing to mention - room 4 bedhead touches the socket and can put the reading light out - a simple wooden block is the answer

“I had not booked on line before and found it very easy. I stayed one night only but came away with a good feeling about my visit. I was looked after in a very friendly and efficient manner. I cannot think of any improvement to suggest. A good place to stay, one to remember, I am glad I came.”

• The hotel was clean and well maintained, the accomodation being great value for the price.

“The stay itself was excellent, although pictures of rooms and details of services (such as TV availability, bathroom etc) would have been welcomed at the booking stage. Also, a link to multi-map.com would also have been of use.”

• Able to park. Efficient staff. Inexpensive.
• Unappealing decor. Very dark and dingy.

“Quite a central location. Looks much better from the outside than it is inside. Picture of the rooms would have been useful. Desperately needs a makeover.”

• lit d'un confort douteux, robinets du lavabo mal TtudiTs (comme souvent en Angleterre : pas de mitigeur et pas la place de mettre les mains directement sous le robinet)

“Rien de particulier. Seule remarque : il me semble qu'en France, vue la distance au centre ville, par ex pour une ville comme Lyon, on peut avoir le mOme h(tel pour moins cher.”

• It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close to the venue.

“The guesthouse was clean and the staff were very friendly, breakfast was good! The location was perfect for us as we were visiting the 'Junction', but it is a bit of a way out of the main centre of Cambridge, saying that the train station is close and there are plenty of buses! There is a complex of eateries and bowling etc. opposite which would be great if you have a family and don't want to go into the centre.”

“Dresden Villa is a comfortable family run B&B which is reasonably priced and within walking distance of Cambridge for anyone who is reasonably fit. There are frequent bus services into the City.”

• The very friendly welcome and service
• The room was at the noisy streetside, so I could not leave the window open during the night.

“A very adequate and pleasant service. Superb breakfast. For longer stays, I would need a means to connect my laptop to the outside world.”

• No bad points

“A very clean and comfortable Guest House.
Was as good as we expected,we travelled by train and found the distance from the station a little more than stated.The weather was
fine so the walk from the station was quite pleasant but on a rainy
day a taxi would have been necessary.”

“Maybe a better map and or driving directions. It was easy enough to find but the driving directions were from one approach only. A map would have been better.

Above all it was a very welcoming, friendly hotel with good facilities, excellent quality & choice of food and helpful staff and management.”
