• The atmosphere was so friendly and the service could not be faulted
• We would have liked a shower over the bath.

“I would have liked to have known about the Breaks that they do and feel that Active Hotels could have informed us. We paid top rate for our break whereas we could have been on the Break tariff which was not revealed to us when I booked. However, the Hotel is impeccable, standard of food is very high and the service is really excellent and we had a very good three nights at the hotel.”

• Friendly, convivial atmosphere, unhurriedbut attentive
• Toilet facilities were defective.

“Unfortunately some of the restaurant staff were still undergoing training which led to a few minor problems but these were handled by the management in a prompt and acceptable way.

We both enjoyed our stay but would have preferred the Bar to open to residents earlier but there was an Inn across the round so no real problem.”
