“Couldnt fault a thing, staff bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we wanted, huge rooms, well equipped, fair priced bar & clean ensuite facilities, will stay there again!” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 11, 2004 by

“The location was very convenient for the city centre and all the major atractions. The accommodation was good value for money.” Nov 25, 2004 by

“Overall my stay at this hotel was a good experience. Although there was an initial problem with the booking this was quickly resolved. Our room was large and clean. Although the radiator seemed to be stuck on hot for the whole of our stay, and the shower was a little tempremental (the general fixings for it were loose) but adequate. The hotel was in an excellent position, we were close to the Barbican, a stones throw from the city centre and close to the Pavillions but with none of the noise. Oct 28, 2004 by

“I had a really nice stay at the sunray. the staff were lovely and very helpful. Very good english breakfast. Sep 6, 2004 by

“The Sunray is a small hotel which has the friendliness and cosiness of a large guest house. The owners are very friendly as are the staff and they couldnt do enough to make my stay enjoyable. Little touches like local magazines and books in the bar, along with good maps and even a bus timetable made the stay better. The decor is not up to date, but the bed was comfortable, the bedding clean and all the beverages, sauces and preserves were brand names not cheap substitutes. I will certainly stay here again.” Aug 20, 2004 by

“We had a wonderful time and the staff were really helpful and made our reunion with our school friend a lovely memory. Thanks very much.” Aug 17, 2004 by

“Excellent budget hotel, ideal if you are a visiting football supporter, as we were: it's no more than a 10 minute cab ride to the ground. Near to the Hoe, which is very picturesque. If you like everything new and shiny looking, maybe choose somewhere else, but this hotel was perfect for me.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
