• Good location for town centre, parking.
• Annex room tired, caters mostly for parties and functions.

“Overall Hotel stay was below average. Room in Annex not the best and quite noisy on main road. Room could have been cleaner and burst hover bag full of brick dust outside room door didn't give a good impression. Hotel seems to cater mainly for parties, functions and groups for Alton Towers, so expect Saturday nights to be busy and noisy. Didn't get wakeup call as requested. Breakfast ok, nothing special. Average value for money. ”

• Very clean, good sized room
• Steep slope to/from car park with no back door access to it.

“It was very clean, with good sized rooms which were nicely decorated. ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of food - it's the only hotel I've ever stayed in where I've not had to plead and beg for a ”

• Excellent value for money, clean and tidy.

“Bank holiday special offer was amazing value for money, would definately stay in this hotel again. Was clean and tidy, food was good and overall could not find anything to complain about given the price range apart perhaps from location.”

“We had a very pleasant overnight stay at the International Hotel in Derby.The staff were helpful and polite and attentive to all our needs,especially in the restaurant.The menu for the fixed price three course meal was excellent offering food to suit all ”

• Close to town center, Breakfast included was pretty good

“Stayed at the hotel once before and liked it then. I doubt there is a better hotel in derby that suits my needs. Its only 4 quid more expensive than a travel lodge and the facilities are better, the staff niceer, the location better and breakfast is included”

• great buffet breakfast - good value and well cooked. Room very clean and well thought out facilities

• Easy to locate, late check in, good breakfast, quiet room.
• Failed to provide (confirmed) twin room. Restaurant closed early.

“Generally satisfied. The room allocated was in the annexe which, because of the pouring rain that night, was not very convenient.
I would like to have been informed before I booked the accommodation that their restaurant would be closed after 9.30pm. I was disappointed not being able to have dinner, having driven down from Scotland in the pouring rain. I was informed that sandwiches were available.”

• Clean, neat, comfortable. Lovely bathroom, too! Friendly staff.
• Perhaps a little pricier than we wanted, but generally a good value for the money.

“Your accommodations were very much as described on the Web. If anything, they were better. I believe we had an unexpected upgrade. In any case, it was one of the better moderately priced hotels in which we have stayed in Britain and would certainy come again. I don't think you missed anything.”
