• Quickness of check in and out.
• Room was dirty, bulb lamps not working, window broken and an overall feeling of poorness and dirt

“If I had known about the dirtness of the room I would have not booked in the hotel. It is fairly close to the city center,10 min by bus, in a dull but quiet area. The hotel provides poor standards of accomodation.”

• Close to conference venue (City of Manchester Stadium)
• tired and dirty building, needed a good hoover, not enough staff..

“I thought the facility was poor, not overlly clean and needs a good paint an brighten up..
The staff were helpfull and friendly, but got the impression there was not enough of them.. always had to go and find somebody to serve us at the bar..”

• Very Modern rooms. Relaxed atomosphere. Friendly staff.
• Rooms were a little dark and need more natural light. The bar area could do with a little more work maybe with a larger Screened television and more facitilies such as a pool table or slot machine. Also providing snacks such as nuts and crisps.

“The staff are very friendly and welcoming of young adults. I feel that they appreciate that some guests are there as a party and to enjoy themselves and do not limit you to certain restrictions.
Once inside, the whole hotel has been designed and decorated very modern and stylish. The rooms are slightly dark but it is not a huge problem. Overall a very nice hotel and value for money.”

• The staff were excellent and the breakfast was a fantastic choice and very enjoyable.
• The first room we arrived in was not of a great standard.

“The window in the room was broken & bathroom ceiling was a mess & in need of repair,however once we were able to move to another room we were very comfortable. Overall there is nothing more I would have needed to know about the hotel. The staff did everything to accommodate our queries and needs and I think the service they provided was the best I have ever received in a hotel.”

• easy access to the apollo where we were going in the evening, clean sheets and towels
• carpets a bit messy, bed spreed burnt,

“On checking in the guy on reception was good, the barman was very pleasant, but the female on the reception when checking out was not very pleasant, but overall we enjoyed our stay.”

• Good location for the event we were attending, also the car parking appeared safe
• Lunch was not great although it was a good price. Other guests were extremely noisy coming back at 4am, sound proofing poor!

• good value, clean, handy for the venue we visited.
• Room very small, bar closed at 10.50pm

“The hotel was well located for our venue. In a slightly dodgy area but it did have secure parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The TV did not work (it was not cable TV and the reception was terrible.) Not that it really mattered as were were only really in our rooms to get ready and to sleep.

I liked the decor - very 'boutique on a budget! Unfortunately our rooms were very small with sloping ceilings and quite dark. We were told that we had the only two rooms in the hotel of this type (!) which seemed unlucky! The shower was very powerful the bathroom overall was excellent.

All in all a great stay - for someone on a tight budget who just wants a place to dress and sleep it is ideal. There is a small bar (which closed at 10.50pm. However, for the type of visitor I doubt at weekends there is anyone actually IN at that time. They don't have 24hr room service, but when we arrived back at about 2.30am we were given a takeaway menu and were told that food could be delivered. We passed, but handy to know.

Would return for a similar purpose - but not a hotel for a romantic weekend away ...”

• It is only five minutes taxi ride from Piccadilly station.
• The rooms were small and more lighting would be nice.

“The hotel was good budget accomodation close to central manchester.
The check-in process was quick and the staff very helpful.
Unfortunately the residents bar closed before eleven o'clock.
Beds very very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had followed by a good breakfast.
Would definitely use this hotel again.”

• I booked a double and got a twin, the bath plug failed to work

• A place to rest, that was comfortable and homely.
• Toilet seat was broken, razor point did not work, and neither did the payphone.

• NachlSssigkeit bei Details: leere GetrSnkeflasche des VorgSngers im Zimmer, Befestigung der Nachttisch-Lampen an der Wand defekt

“Es wSre hilfreich, wenn die Buslinien, mit denen man das Hotel z.B. vom Bahnhof Picadilly aus erreichen kann (201,203,204), auf der Homepage des Hotels erwShnt wnrden, ebenso die Bushaltestelle. Ein Hinweis auf das verbilligte Tagesticket fnr Busse nach 9:30 Uhr wSre auch angebracht (DAYRIDER, 2.80PST). Auf der Homepage sind als Distanz vom Bahnhof Picadilly zum Hotel 2 km angegeben - das ist Unsinn. Es sind deutlich mehr.”

• The comfy bed and excellent shower!!
• That I couldn't find it very easily!!

“Overall it was excellent, but the directions to the hotel weren't the best and caused me some stress, along with the directions to the airport which when you are catching an early flight is not good!!”

• Good shower.No smoking room away from smokers room so no smells.
• Very noisy at night, all male coach party very noisy disrupting sleep.
