• Nothing positive to say.
• The whole experience.

“Extremely expensive for what you get staff very unfriendly food always cold & late no milk or juice at breakfast times rooms filthy basically this hotel makes faulty towers look like the Ritz members of our party coming down with food poisoning, all in all this hotel is worth avoiding like the plague.”

“Room was of a decent standard, but points to note, there was no litter bin, no hotel information, electric towel rail but not wired up, took time to work out how hot water worked on the shower, no slip mat or non-slip surface in bath. Pity about the refurbishment work going on. Food pricey, tasty but not good value.”

• When arrived at the hotel the reception was full of smoke - not at all inviting to any hotel guest!

• Cheap, clean, v. close to Old Trafford & Manchester City Centre, secure & free car parking
• Breakfast too basic, drinks & toast were not brought to table. Room security safe would not unlock.

“As a cheap and cheerful stopover for a Man Utd game this was a good enough hotel, but the breakfast was severely lacking. Virtually every hotel I've ever stayed at will deliver tea/coffee pots and toast to the table, but we had to do this ourselves (no great hardship I know but nevertheless made breakfast was consequently not a relaxing one). The bar lacked sufficient beer / range of spirits, at least for a Man Utd home game. Overall the hotel was too much of a business man's hotel for us. That said, although small the rooms were clean and modern and not lacking features (although our safe did not unlock). I was not unhappy with the stay and would not discount staying here for a future Man Utd match, but would look elsewhere first. The key thing I would really have preferred was knowing that it really did cater for business travelers only. A final point is that there was no restaurant to eat food outside of 7pm-9pm, not even a basic self service canteen, and 7-9pm does not give any flexibility.”

“Would have liked information about hotel facilities to be available in the bedroom (ie restaurant times, checking out times etc)
Unsure of how you class children under 15 stay for free as you only have a facility for booking rooms which had to include ages and names of children, which then had to be paid for.”

• friendly, clean and relaxed
• the stay was not long enough to really comment

“As the stay was only overnight due to an event we attended it would have been nice to have been told it was over the river from the main area's and if walking although it was only 10 mins it meant walking down dark unbuilt up areas and accross a bridge over the river. Bus service was none to the area we were interested in. Although the stay was short the staff were helpful (although we were expected to have arrived by car and not public transport) and we did enjoy our stay. If we had known about the remote access we would not have chosen this hotel as 2 women alone walking dark unlit streets was not what we had in mind. if we do go back to Manchester in a car we would probably use the hotel again, and recommed it. Facilities were not really used so feel unable to give a fair comment upon them.”

• very comfortable rooms friendly staff especially duty manager,service of full english breakfast was very efficient.

“Secure parking is a great help, overall the hotel made our shopping trip exellent and value for money.”

• The accommodation was very nice, not far from city center,receptionists were very nice.

“The hotel was easy to find, located 5 minutes from city center only '5 in a taxi, good secure car park and night time security, overall a good stay.”

“Conveniant location close to City centre and Old Trafford. Very easy to get to , straight off the motorway. Nice decor , clean attractive looking hotel.”

• Very good shower. Comfy bed. The essentials were good.
• No modem point. Long corridor in hotel room, not very welcoming. Made it feel like I was staying in make shift room. Even though I wasn't.

“Good. Breakfast was tasty and prompt. The receptionists were welcoming and helpful. I was happy that my car was secure, given the location of the hotel. The hotel is easy to find and has excellent connections for motorways and city centre.”

• The hotel was ideally situated for my visit. It was clean, the room was excellent and the facilities were good. The staff were also very good

“It was a single night stay and the experience was so good that I will be staying there again in the future. I have a number of 2 - 4 night stays coming up in Manchester between now and xmas so this is the hotel I will attempt to book”

• FINE ROOMS OF A HIGH STANDARD OF HYGIENE, VERY HELPFULL STAFF, DECENT BREAKFAST AND GOOD SECURITY
• NEEDS FRIDGE MINI BAR AND WATER IN ALL ROOMS AND SNACK MENU EXTENDING WHEN TRYING TO FIND THIS HOTEL PRINT A MAP!

“OVERALL IMPRESSIVE WITH GOOD SECURITY AND VALUE, THE ABOVE IMPROVEMENTS WOULD PUT THE HOTEL ON PAR WITH OTHERS IN THE SAME CLASS. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BOOK AGAIN.”

• 11:30 pm check-in was a godsend.
• noisy toaster in restaurant. Inedible croissants. Shower head had a mind of its own.
