• close to city centre, good restaurant/bar facilities in house.
• early leavers not catered for. room cramped.

“Great location near city centre, castle and railway station. Somewhat tricky to find at first! Good bar and restaurant facilities at the hotel. Room was rather small and cramped - for example, access to the en suite was blocked by the bed!”

• Hotel provided a lunch in lieu of breakfast as I had an early start - perhaps lunch could have been healthier and not included chips & soft drink
• No washing facilities which are very useful for travellers on limited time and only staying one or two nights

“Well presented traditional hotel, pleasant dining room but like all traditional hotels needs to adpat to international travellers with provision of laundry facilities and internet access.”

• proximity to town centre, excellent value-for-money
• Bathroom shabby, room a little cramped

“Don't let the photo put you off - this hotel is a rather attractive building from the outside. Inside the communal areas are fine but the room was in desperate need of re-decoration and a new bathroom. Everything was clean and in working order though. Great location - 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Very good value-for-money overall.”
