• Great location near train station and Princes Street.
• Nothing.

“This has to be the best Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre (Picardy Place) I have stayed in - friendly and quick check in, room was spotless and freshly decorated - open wardrobe, powerful shower room and a double bed with a choice of soft or firm pillows on the bed. Breakfast is continental buffet and was included in the price - you help yourself to tea / coffee, cereals, fruit, pastries, bread rolls, juices and make your own toast. The staff is helpful and let me store my bags for the day before I got the 100 Airlink bus from outside the railway station (Waverly) to Edinburgh Airport. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the station entrance. Overall - fantastic location and nice and central - will stay here again the next time I go to Edinburgh.”

• Very friendly and helpful.
• Bad visibility of hotel signs, and costly car park.

“Clean, friendly and very helpful with communication with the states, and with local transportation. Good variety of breakfast foods.”

• Continental breakfast was supplied.
• Due to a rugby match in town, the price of the room doubled - not fare!

“All in all, the hotel was good. It is a shame that hotels bump their room rates so high because of a Rugby match. The rates dropped down after we had left and the Rugby match had concluded. We did not benefit from this drop unfortunately.”

• Convenient location, very clean, good price.
• No refrigerator.

“This hotel is located in the Theater district, a 10-15 minute walk to the "old city" area. The staff was very helpful and the rooms are clean and efficient. I would stay there again.”
