• Clean,warm and comfortable,easy parking,friendly staff,good beer, high quality evening meal,breakfast.

“After staying in Premier Lodges/Travel Inns and suffering appalling breakfasts,gassy beer, all over priced and having to search out a decent place to eat always on my own,this hotel/pub gets it right.
Real Beer of high quality,food thats satisfiying and home cooked,they have a genuine chef!great evening menu and breakfast.
Its a pub with friendly locals a roaring log fire and at night there is no noisey traffic to spoil your sleep.”

• Meals good hotel well arranged
• Poor Car Park arrangements. Forgot to offer dessert on last night's meal and wine on first night. Bathroom poorly arranged (no room in front of washbasin)
