• Very helpful staff - both on the telephone prior to visit and while at hotel.

“We booked an overnight stay to visit with some American friends while they were in York overnight on their UK tour so the actual amount of time in the hotel and using their facilities was minimal. However, as mentioned above, the staff were extremely fri”

• Spacious room, friendly staff, free parking.
• TV reception not brilliant. Freeview would be nice. Phone port was very awkward to access.

“Trouble free stay. Not exactly on the doorstep of the city centre, but only 10-15 minutes walk. Helpfully, umbrellas are readily available throughout the entire hotel. Free off-road parking was one of the main reasons I for chose the hotel.

• Next door to the kitchens - noisy in the early morning!

“if you want to be in the centre of York this is not for you, but try to enjoy the 10 min walk in.If you want to be in the centre then you will have to pay for it! As we only paid ?u66 for the room you can hardly complain. At full price I would consider it to be a little steep. Nice accomm and nice staff. Don't ask for room 6 as you will be woken by the kitchens in the morning. The sound of the whisk whizzing round still wakes me now! A pleasant stay, but make sure you get some discount booking online.”
