“Recently spent a week at the Grand Hotel de la Ville, Sorrento on honeymoon. Best hotel I have stayed at! very friendly and helpful staff, amazing Italian food on menu every day (was staying on 1/2 board basis). The room was very spacious and typically Italian decorated throughout. Hotel has recently been refurbished and there is air con, in the rooms (which is well needed). Hotel situated approx 10 minutes walk from the town center of Sorrento, where there is plenty of nightlife and panoramic views. Our hotel room overlooked the bay of Naples, olive groves and mount Vesuvius. Overall, fantastic holiday, although take plenty of money with you as drinks are expensive not only in the hotel, but in Sorrento itself. Will surely visit again in near future!! ”
