• The landlady was very friendly and nice
• The food was cold, the room was tatty and to get to our room we had to go through the landlady's private accomodation

• location is very good, close to town centre. Staff is friendly enough
• Furniture is rather old and tidiness needs to be improved

“Facilities ready in hotel rooms should be listed out in detail, such as toileteries, towel supplies etc. It could be more useful for travellers.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast.
• Heat in the room worked intermittently through the night.

“The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the city centre. It's a very homey, welcoming place. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast is served hot and efficiently.”

• excellent variety at breakfast and the dining area
• bathroom needs modernising,entrance hall too.

“Location,parking facilites were correct.date of last tourist board or AA/RAC inspection.Would like to see that more modernisation takes place before recommending this to others, although adequate for short stay and a no frills hotel.”

• Good breakfast and very hospitable and friendly landlady.
• No parking facilities and on second day took some time for breakfast to arrive.

“Small bedroom, with en suite facilities that offered a shower only. Towels were on the small side and we were only provided with bath towels - no hand towels. The room had no hair dryer but one was made available when asked. The cost of staying in the hotel was reasonable and this was reflected in the hotel's general facilities.”
