• Beds were very comfortable and room smelt fresh.
• Banging of fire door which was situated outside our room.

“I felt that we obtained value for money. The room was very clean and did not smell musty as some hotel rooms do. The furniture and beds were obviously very new. Plently of car parking space.”

• Friendly staff, breakfast was varied and plentiful, overall very clean hotel
• Pre-arranged early drop off of luggage-told on arrival policy to leave it in reception.

“Overall the hotel was adequate for our needs. Clean and not too dated the only problem with our room was the windows did not open which was needed whilst getting ready (3 women use a lot of smellies!) During the night my friends felt cold and felt there weren't enough covers for the beds, but these are small points and as previously said the hotel overall was suitable for our purpose.”

• Well placed, friendly, close to other bars and restaurants.
• Bit scruffy in places.

• Good parking, cheerful staff
• Very small fairly cramped room, Restaurant was closed

“The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception. I was disapointed the restaurant was closed when we were there and had not been informed beforehand, however. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, but was very small. Location of hotel was excellent.”

• It was easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the waiters excellent. It was useful having a restaurant next door.
• Shabby carpets in communal areas and bathroom suite needed updating - there was mould around the tiles and bath seal.

“The overall look of the hotel was very shabby and although some of the furniture in my room was new and modern the bathroom desperately needed updating. It had a tired advocado suite and although it was clean the tiles and bath seal had mould and there were bare pipes which were dusty and added to the feel of it being old and unkempt. The bed was very lumpy and not comfortable but the overall room was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly - particularly in the restaurant. It is in a very busy area so there was a lot of noise in the street after all the pubs had closed.”

• Good parking, value for money with breakfast included
• No real bad points, but I think that the Hotel is in need of some modernisation
