• No imformation as to private functions booked at the hotel

“Overall a quality hotel in a pleasing location.
Before booking private functions should have been mentioned and if they were likely to be noisy to reseidents in the hotel.”

• Quiet room booked, as requested
• No 'proper' shower or shower curtain.

“The room was very small and walls very thin which was okay for 1 night. Stand up shower and curtain would have been welcomed.”

• Ideal location,good breakfast and nice reception
• room could do with updating and shower poor.

“Nice hotel in good position for bars and restuarants. Close to the metro but could have done with directions from the metro to the hotel.
Reception has been updated but our room looked a little tired and could do with an update.”

• Hotel very unclean, cobwebs everywhere, dirty linen on bathroom floor, bathroom very unclean, nice breakfast

“I would like to have known that there were apparently not enough staff to clean the rooms which was the reason, according to the receptionist, that dirty linen was on the bathroom floor. When told about this receptionist simply said oh - no apology and we had to ask for another room as this was not offered. The two rooms had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, in one bedroom the wallpaper was coming off, ceiling tiles hanging down in the hallway, bathroom uncleaned as soap scum everywhere. Cigarette burns in pillows. We understood there was a residents lounge open until midnight. This was not the case - we arrived back at 11p.m. to find no one at reception. Tracked down surly man who when asked about the bar simply said its not open. Very disappointed and will be writing to media about this hotel. I would not have paid '40 per person per night for this disgusting hotel.”

• The breakfast was quite good, the bar was comfotable and drinks were sold at reasonable prices.
• The room looked like if it needed a bit of work and the reception from the old radio was so bad it might as well not have been there.

“The hotel was situated in a nice area with everything you'll need within walking distance. The staff were friendly and polite but unfortunately the room was basic with questionable decor.”

• SMALL CAR PARKING AREA.
