• Clean and right on the tram line.
• The concierge service wasn't very friendly. The lady at the gym spa was rude to us.

“This hotel was just 4 stops on the tram from the Hauptbahnhof. The 24 hour room service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was an excess to enjoy. A great place to stay if you just want to spend the night in Frankfurt close to the city.”

• Good location, very clean and a large room for Frankfurt.
• Not great for kids but otherwise an excellent hotel.

“This hotel is centrally located, name brand hotel that exceeds its four star rating. The rooms are spacious for Frankfurt and in Europe for that matter.”

• The hotel staff was excellent - very helpful & friendly.
• Parking - very expensive, no in/out capability.

“Hotel room is very nice - but the real shining star in the hotel is the staff. They are very friendly & truly seem interested in you & your experience. The Bistro is also excellent - the bar is great - friendly bartenders - food is not so good. Their is a high end restaurant - excellent breakfast - but very expensive (25E).”

• Too far from the airport and no shuttle.

“This is a nice business quality hotel located in central Frankfurt. It is rather far from the airport and there is no shuttle so be prepared for a 25-30 Euro cab ride but at least it is mostly against traffic in the mornings. Excellent views are to be had from both sides of the hotel and the rooms and services were excellent. Breakfast was very expensive (25-30 Euros), particularly if you are not on an expense account but rather with your family.”

• Beautiful room & facilities.
• Expensive Internet.

“Stayed at this hotel for two nights over a long weekend in January. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport via mass transit (about 30 min, a'3.60). The facilities were beautiful and the staff incredibly helpful in answering questions and accommodating requests. The sushi bar in the lobby and the French restaurant were overly expensive for the location and type of food they were serving, but the sports bar had great deals on food and drinks. Was pleasantly surprised by a 5-6PM "happy hour" where all drinks were 2-for-1. Internet, at more than 20a' per day, was outrageously overpriced.”

• 43 story property, with only four elevators. At peak times was slow to get to upper floors.

• Our hotel room offers a panoramic view of Frankfurt along with the creature comforts befitting a 4-star hotel.
• No ice machine on our floor and ice machine's) did not work on several other floors as well.

“American travelers in Frankfurt will find themselves right at home while abroad in this 4-star Marriott. My only complaint is not being able to get ice from any of the ice-machines on 3 different floors. A male hotel staffer who took my ice bucket in front of the empty ice-machine on the 27th floor did not return the ice bucket or the ice he'd promised before I checked out an hour later. I figured that he must have forgotten my room number and it was no big deal, but it affected my overall rating for this stay.”

“Excellent location with fairgrounds opposite, trolley line across the street, 5 minutes to main station then 20 min to airport for 3.55 Euro. "Champions sports bar" has reasonable food and drink prices as does the snack shop off lobby. Nice skyline views from upper floors. Highly trained, friendly professional staff at all levels make for an enjoyable stay.”

• This hotel had several English language channels on the TV.
• The whirlpool hot tub is consistently out of service---all the time.

“The Frankfurt Marriott is a real treat to lodge at because it strongly captors to American tastes and preferences. For example, they have several ice machines on different floors. That is highly unusual in Europe. Also, they have a restaurant that serves items you would find in Chicago as well----like hamburgers, hot dogs & etc. The hotel is surprisingly romantic as well. They have a fitness room, but there is a perpetual out of service sign on the hot tub and the sauna, which does take some of the shine off of the whole experience. ”

• An extremely nice and welcoming hotel.
• I can¿t see any negatives.

“Very nice decorated rooms and bathroom. (Much nicer than at the nearby Radisson SAS, in which I stayed in the night before and left really disappointed). The room is definitely big enough for two people. And the comfort of the bed can not be described, you have to experience it. Really great. Good food for a reasonable price at the Champions Sports bar 110% overall recommendation from me. You can't go wrong at the Frankfurt Marriott.”

• Professional friendly staff. Good restaurant good security.
• Everything was fine no complaints.

“Hotel is next to trolley stop, 3 min to Hauptbahnhof. Less than 30 minutes driving or public transportation from Airport. Family friendly hotel but mostly business travelers. Some airline personnel stay here. Many Americans. Staff MOSTLY speak very good English. Rooms are standard Marriott same as in USA Champions Restaurant has some specials and some reasonable priced meals. Coffee shop has pre made sandwiches that are very reasonably priced. Hotel parking is expensive. Parking on area streets usually can be found.”

• The person I encountered at the front desk at check-in was extremely helpful.
• The location is ideal for business travelers but not for leisure travelers.

“A large, clean, typical Marriott hotel located in the business district of Frankfurt. Ideal for business travelers but probably not recommended to vacationers as downtown and old town Frankfurt can only be reached via underground train or taxi. Staff was very helpful and if you miss or prefer American-style food, one of their restaurants will certainly accommodate.”

• Great central downtown location. Across the street from the Messe and a 5 minute walk to the train station. Close to the autobahn too!
• Parking was 24 euros extra per night.

“The Frankfurt Marriott was a great hotel. It's location was prime.. only minutes away from Frankfurt airport, across the street from the Messe and about a 5 minute walk from the main railway station. The rooms were roomy, comfortable clean and the staff was always helpful. Rooms had high speed internet access and there was a business center in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel, and stay again in the future.”

“The hotel is the highest in Europe, occupying floors 27-42 of a high rise office building near downtown Frankfurt. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent beds, very quiet, great view. Efficient room service, great breakfast. What more does a business traveler want. Highly recommended.”

• Marriott are consistent in every aspect of their quality, product and service.
• I was unable to purchase Tylenol at 5:00 am, should be available somewhere in such a hotel.

“This is a fine business hotel. It is exactly what you would expect from a Marriott: clean, comfortable and with a high level of service. This particular hotel has been kept up to date. Everything is new. The bedding was particularly comfortable. The shower controls, pressure and temperature were all excellent. This is not a boutique hotel, by any means. There are very few cues that one is in Europe at all within the hotel. It is, however, a fine hotel in every other regards.”

• In hotel restaurants subparts Lack of coffee maker in room. Staff not very helpful. Hotel too generic lacking character.

“This hotel was disappointing It is not in the very center of the city. The staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful in regard to getting around the city or for information on city attractions. There was no coffee or tea maker in the room, which was very inconvenient considering hotel's location remote from dining nightspots sushi bar in the hotel had really poor quality of food, bad service and overpriced. The architecture and general ambiance of the hotel are too generic, dull and lacking of any character. On the New Year eve all eating establishments were closed to the guests of the hotel and were reserved for a party hotel hosted for pare booked guests locals, which was inconvenient and spoiled celebration of New Year. The true hospitality implies taking care of your guests first. I would expect for a hotel to offer some choices for guests for a New Year celebration. Fitness club and sauna were closed on Dec 31 and Jan 1; holiday or not, but it is part of services hotel is supposed to offer to the guests. The reception clerk failed to register me for Marriott's even though I mentioned I am a member. This hotel does not live up to Marriott standards..”

• over priced long distance service that was not explained to guest up front.

“The hotel was wonderful, but we would never stay in a Marriott property again. We made a long distance call that was charged over $5.00 per min. All other calls from Europe were charged a maximum of $1.00 per min. during our 24 day stay. A notation of this price needs to be presented in each room, not at the time of check-out. We felt "ripped off" by the overpriced phone charge.”

• Rooms start on 20th floor, no airport shuttle
