• Nice landscaped grounds, beautiful beach.
• Terrible service, badly treated.

“It was not clean, the bathroom shower would go from hot to cold and you couldn't control the temperature, and the hotel was quick to tell us that nothing was included except for a continental breakfast in the morning. The actual property grounds is beautiful but extremely large and it takes a bit of walking to get anywhere unless you take a train that also takes awhile to get around. All in all, there are far better places with far better service than this hotel. Don't waste your money or vacation time .”

• Staff was wonderful especially by the tropical pool bar. .
• Casino could use more variety of table games.

“My family recently stayed at Melia Caribe Tropical. It was wonderful. I do suggest you upgrade to the royal service to avoid the check in situation as well as other benefits. We are going back again next year.”

• Everything was great!
• Only negative thing was they tried to sell the melia holiday package over and over again. Way too expensive.

“This was an excellent place to be. We stayed in Villa 1401, great location. Near the ocean, pool and restaurant! We had a wonderful time!”
