“Moderate motel with clean rooms. I booked the better/best room which was roomy, however the bathroom had been redone to allow a jacuzzi tub and was somewhat cramped. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, overall I would stay there again.” May 16, 2008 by
Jane. from Burlington, ON CA
“Clean and comfortable room. Very basic in every way. Not a desirable location for a single senior.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Gertrude from Butler, PA
“I would not stay at this hotel again, the entrance was hard to get & out of due to traffic location, it was on the shady outskirts of Winston-Salem, the doors were very hard to get open, the room was not as clean as I had expected, quite musty, and not what I expected with a "Days Inn" name.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Scottsville, VA
“I was only staying one night so it was fine but anymore than that and I would have wanted something a little more upscale.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Joan from Lynchburg, VT
“The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took care of the room as needed to be.” Jul 31, 2007 by

“Easy to find but, not so squeaky clean. They are going through some renovations.” Apr 10, 2007 by

“Our room was not ready at check in time we were there 1/2 hour past check-in 1:30pm. They did not tell us this and they gave us our key like it was ready. We carried all of our stuff to the room with 2 small children and the door was open and the beds were stripped. When I went down to speak with the office they advised me that I would have to wait that they were booked and they did not have a room ready. Why I was not told this when I was given my keys is beyond me. I asked if they had any rooms ready and she said that it was not her fault that I had to have a non smoking room. She was very rude and put out that I would like my room by this time it was 2:00 and she said that she will have someone come and clean our room that we can put our stuff in the room and wait in the lobby. My family and I decided that we would not like our stuff in the room when we were not with it this hotel is in a horrible part of town and the employees did not look trustworthy. We ended up leaving and getting something to eat. When we came back our room was ready but I would not return to that hotel due to rude employees and being in a bad location.” Feb 19, 2007 by

“Initial thought when pulling into parking lot was oh no! several AAU basketball teams were staying there, we were put on other side of motel and was not disturbed by them at all, if only I could say the same for the people below us and their dogs. I have to admit the motel did live up to my expectations (I am picky) very clean and newly remodeled, good TV. No Parking in rear of motel.” Nov 2, 2005 by
Myrna from Bay Shore, NY
“I had my first visit in Winston Salem, NC and had a wonderful time. The hotel provided a sense of warm Southern Hospitality unlike any other place I have been. I will certainly visit again as soon as I can.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
