- Comfortable bed, clean room.
- No pay-per-view, ran out of toilet paper.
“We first stayed at this hotel in February 2009 and had a great experience. So, when we were looking to get away for the weekend this month (Oct. 09), we decided to return. We found a great rate, and we remembered how nice and new the room was. This time around, we were slightly disappointed because we were looking forward to relaxing and watching movies, like we always do when we get a hotel for the weekend. When we turned on the TV after checking into our room, however, we found that there was no Pay-Per-View. So, we called the front desk and were told that they no longer had this service available. We still had a nice time and the room was very nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. However, I wish I had known that in 8 months' time, a hotel would decide to get rid of pay-per-view (which I consider to be a standard amenity for hotels). Also, I'm giving a low rating for Service because we were completely out of toilet paper and tissues a few hours before it was time to check out, and we only stayed there for one night! There was just a half a roll when we got there, with no extras (and we didn't realize this until we ran out). When I asked the front desk, they said someone would be coming up, but no one ever came. I ended up grabbing a box of tissues from one of the housekeeping carts in the hallway (there was no toilet paper on the cart). I was kind of annoyed that there was no survey to review our stay because I definitely would have noted this housekeeping slip-up.”

- Layout of room interior including fridge and microwave.
- Ceiling in room needed some repair.
“Outside of some skittishness about the ceiling in my room which needed some repair, the room layout is one of the nicest I've been in and the staff at this hotel is great!”

- Clean, updated renovation, and anticipated traveler’s needs.
- I thought it was closer to airport.
“The Hilton Brand is a reliable one, but I was please to find the accommodations and newly renovated. The staff was professional and friendly and anticipated guests needs. In addition to a room with internet access where we could check-in for our flight, they provided restaurant recommendations. Although initially disappointed it was a drive from the airport, they provide a shuttle. It turned out to be quite convenient to most major roads. We used it as a central location between Hartford & Framingham, and it worked very well for us. We'd return.

- Clean and large rooms.
- Incompetent staff.
“Fire Alarm went off and it was an hour and a half before we could check in. It ended up being a false alarm. The staff was not well trained in how to handle anything like this. Nobody knew where the elevator key was, so we ended up walking up four flights of stairs with luggage after midnight.”

- The bar closed too early (8pm), few amenities nearby.

- The pool and Jacuzzi area, although small was very nice.
- Room temp was a little difficult to regulate.

- Front office staffs were very nice.
- Noisy heat pump in room kept me up most of the night.

- The hotel staff was excellent.
- I wish I had a better view, when looking out the window I saw converters and dead birds on the 1st floor roof.
“The Hilton Garden Inn is a beautiful hotel. The staff provides excellent service in all areas. I would recommend the hotel to all of my friends and family, and would visit again whenever I visit the Windsor, CT area.”

- Small room, no black out curtains.
“Perfect for the business traveler. Clean, comfortable rooms but a bit on the small side. Comfortable bed, free wireless internet in the rooms. I was surprised there were no black out curtains in the rooms. The gauzy curtain didn't block any light if you want to sleep in.”
