• Rooms, meeting rooms and dining potentially are adequate.
• Many amenities like whirlpool not kept in working condition.

“A once grand hotel in a makeover status. Inattention to detail and upkeep will eventually do it in.”

• Needs new wallpaper in areas.

“We would stay at this hotel again. In a great area with lots of dining and shopping options. The bed were soft and very comfortable.”

• Nice accommodations, nice spacious room.
• Plumbing problems.

“We feel that the hotel was really nice but the plumbing was a problem i.e.: tubs that would not drain and toilets that would not fill back up with water. We were in three different rooms. The staff was very accommodating and they made our stay a good one.”

• The carpet in the rooms, and hallways were very dirty.

• We had to stay in smoking rooms. Which made it not as clean as it could have been?

“The Location to Kings Island and Route 75 was great. The Hotel appeared to be maintained well. The breakfast was unexpectedly good.”

• The lobby and breakfast area were very nice.
• The tub did not drain well.

“The staff was very accommodating since, I wanted to be left alone. They left extra rags and towels outside my door and did not bother me.”

• The people were very kind and were very hospitable.
• The bed that was in my room was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. I ended up asking for a rollaway which was more comfortable.

• The bed was outstanding.
• Dated looking, lighting bad in the room, service was not good.

“At first look the hotel was very pleasant to see from the parking lot. The lobby had a very high ceiling but was plain. The elevator floors were dirty, needed to be scrubbed. After 7PM you had to call for the attendant (no one waiting at the front desk). Had to ask for towels in the pool area. Then the towels were not completely dry. I asked for dry ones and got the "roll the eyes, flip the head back attitude". The rooms seem to be dated to me. The lighting was dim, different light in every lamp. No light by the large changing mirror. No tissue in the bathroom (had to ask for it). I stayed two nights, when they cleaned the room they did not refresh my soap or shampoo. I guess since I used them but did not use them up they thought I did not need anymore. The bed was great, breakfast was not bad.”

• Quiet, clean, comfortable.
• Arrived on a cold winter evening and room was VERY cold (heat turned off entirely).

“A little hard to find (visible from the freeway but not once you got off at the exit), but a very nice hotel. Room more than my expectations. Complimentary breakfast was very good (make your own waffles, etc.). Would stay there again with no hesitation.”

• Nice loft rooms and loved the high ceiling.
• Blaring loud TV in the breakfast room for breakfast.

“Lovely new hotel, nice staff, great pool and workout area. We would definitely stay here again, we have family in the area and it is n our list to stay next time.”

• It was in a great location and overall well kept.
• Unable to say the exact type of room we would like to have- smoking and king for example.

• The pillows are too big and uncomfortable and the hotel had no alternative.

“Bring your own pillow. The pillows they use are too big and uncomfortable to sleep on. They don't have alternative pillows.”

“Had problems with getting into room. Fiancé tried to get in past 10 pomp after I checked in earlier in the day. Room was two beds instead of one king as requested and promised. Bed was hard.”

• The hotel was clean.
• The beds were very hard, and also hard on my bad back.

“Overall the hotel was nice, but the king and queen beds needed to be softer and with a pillow top surface this would be better for most older folks with bad backs.”

• Not many families stay there, and the highway noise.

“I think it is a very good hotel for the sales people traveling to the city. I found when I called to make sure that we had to queen beds that I wasn't treated very well by the desk person.”
