• Great location and excellent massage shower.
• Would have liked a bigger bed and a blanket.

“Good location in D.C. Also loved the massage shower. Having a kitchen was nice but there was no place to put my garbage. Breakfast was OK but the fake eggs were a disappointment.”

“I stayed at this hotel with my husband and teenage son for two nights over Labor Day weekend. The room was neat, clean, and attractively decorated. We had a room with a queen-sized bed that was very comfortable and a fold-out couch, which my son also deemed quite comfortable. As it is a Residence Inn, it came with a full kitchen, including stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. We did not use the kitchen very much, but it was well appointed and would be great for any extended stay, business travelers, or families. The hotel also has a very good complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. We had an excellent stay, and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.”

• Friendly staff.
• Parking.

“The hotel was great. Only issue, is you have to get valet parking, and its $20 a night. And on top of that, I was charged for either 3 nights, or 3 cars, when I only stayed 1 night, and had 1 car. Other than that, it was great. The free breakfast buffet, was ver nice, and had many options.”

• All the comforts of home on a smaller scale. Kitchen, dining, living, bath
  and bedroom.
• A little further from the monuments than I would have liked, but was not bad.

“This hotel is clean, comfortable and has most all the amenities of home. Separate area for kitchen, dining, living, bath and sleep. Very nice. CVS Pharmacy also attached to hotel.”

“It's a new, clean hotel, and what you would expect from a Residence Inn: free internet, kitchenette, breakfast. For some reason, the hotel was designed with extremely narrow hallways, and I had to squeeze past housekeeping carts anytime I left my room, at any time of day.”

  supermarket.

“It was perfect location. Close walking distance to subway system, decent walking distance to all tourist attractions restaurants and bars. CVS supermarket was directly next to the hotel. Nice and clean room with kitchen & refrigerator. People with a light sleep may need ear plugs for the night because of traffic noise - don't get me wrong, it's not LOUD. TV with free all major channels and optional paid channels. Bathroom with shower and tub. Internet access available. Breakfast from 7 to 10 AM with a standard buffet.”

• I liked that it had a full kitchen, with table.
• The parking situation was horrible and the staff was not friendly or helpful.

“I feel I got a good price through priceline, being that it was in a good location for safety, however there was no accessible parking made available to the hotel customers and therefore the parking situation really made it a difficult stay. And asking the staff for any suggestion was like pulling teeth.”

• Breakfast hours, 6:00 am-9:00 am, should be extended to 10 am.

“This is a happy hotel, starting with the managers and continuing with the training that employees receive in meeting guest's needs. Minor housekeeping problems were fixed promptly and the house engineer called later to verify that everything was satisfactory. Fitness room has 6 machines, also weights.”

• Continental breakfast was amazing. The room was huge and comfortable.

“The Marriott Residence Inn is a gorgeous hotel, close to the main attractions in D.C. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always taking the initiative to ask if you need anything. The room was fabulous, and well-kept. I'd definitely return to this hotel!”

• Great location, huge room, and full free breakfast.

“This hotel is in a perfect location and very affordable. Especially considering every room is a suite including a living room and kitchenette. Very spacious and walking distance from most major attractions. Also convenient shops next door and/or across the street. Hotel staff was very friendly and also includes valet service for $20/day which is very reasonable for the area (valet also includes unlimited entry/exit). Definitely a quality hotel at an affordable price.”

“This hotel was awesome. The staff were helpful when help was needed, but respected our privacy throughout the duration of our stay. The in-room amenities were better than expected. We had a stove, a fridge, a dishwasher, sink, etc. since it is an extended-stay establishment and we were only there a few days, we didn't have an opportunity to join in on the events that the hotel had for their long-term guests, such as different food nights and meet & greets - where you could meet the other families that were staying in the hotel. But the fact that they offered events such as those definitely added to the family-oriented feel of the hotel.”

“The price was very reasonable for this hotel. The front desk and security staff was very helpful. The security guard named Donald was extremely nice and showed us where to visit within DC. The rooms resembled a nice studio apartment. Highly recommend to my friends.”

• Hotel has no pool.
