• pretty lobby, rooms were quiet
• one staff member gave me the wrong code for wifi connection and I wasted 1-2 hrs with it

“Nice inside, rooms were clean and quiet even though we were next to the pool. Indoor pool is convenient. Fortunately hotel did not smell like chlorine like some hotels with indoor pools. Beds were a little too mushy. Near grocercies, target, so it was convenient to pick up any missing supplies”

• I hear Target bought it & intends to tear it down! Bad idea! It's the only hotel in this part of St. Paul.

• The location is ideal for us. Service is great.
• The hotel is being torn down to make way for a Super Target. Bummer!

“We have visited this hotel for the past five years and by now it feels like home. However, as I said, the hotel is being demolished in order to make way for a new Super Target store. We are very sad.”

• The location was easy to get to.
• They only had double beds. Not easy to adjust room temperature.

“The lobby and pool area was very nice, however, the air temperature was very cold. The pool area was not very clean. (Tables were not cleaned off and floor was not cleaned during the night.) They have a very nice fitness area and equipment.”

• It is great to have free internet access in the exercise room. It is popular though, so waiting time is required.
• Hallway carpeting very soiled and dirty. Rooms could be cleaner. The carpet was very dusty on the edges.

“This hotel is coming down soon, for a super Target Store. What a shame, when it is only 24 years old. I guess that is all in the name of progress. May be that is why the housekeeping staff do not take pride in doing a good job, since they were notified that their jobs are being terminated as of Sept. 30th.”

• The staff was courteous. It was close to everything we needed.

• We got 3 free drinks to use in the bar!
• We had double beds! I like to sleep with my spouse!

“Decent hotel. Strange design, some pretty simple rooms. It's nice to have a good place to eat right next door. In all honesty I would say the place is a 2 1/2 star. Small pool, small hottub. The rooms were clean though and that's really all we need. It is awesome though that Sunday-wednesday that they give you drink coupons for the bar. That is a very nice perk.”

• Area knowledge of the hotel staff...didn't know about the St. Paul farmers's market.

• Lovely hotel, lovely room, very clean, pleasant, conveniences are nice, ice machine works!
• No free continental breakfast, vending machine prices too high

“I found the Sheraton Four Points hotel in St. Paul, MN to be a clean, attractive and convenient hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we were trying to find directions to places. The room was very nice and clean, and I enjoyed the coffee and tea you could make right there in the room. There was a hair dryer and ironing board also. We were very comfortable.”

• The birdcage! The public transportation access.
• The swimming pool IN THE LOBBY--the whole place smelled like chlorine. Weird floor plan of the public areas.

“Located close to public transportation, but not near much tourist attractions. Conveniently located near a Target, Walmart, Borders, and chain restaurants. Near many college campuses. Neighborhood is somewhat shady, though. I wouldn't have walked around at night much.”

• Very old hotel. Very uncomfotable beds!!!!Told that we had selected smoking room and we hadn't.

“Terrible!!! Can't believe this was rated as a 3 star. I have staying in 2 star hotels which had more comfortable beds. We were told that the hotel is getting all new beds, which they certainly need. We were told that we had selected a smoking room, which we hadn't. Then we were told that there were not any nonsmoking rooms available. The room they gave us was one they don't usually use and had the most horribly uncomfortable beds. We literally had springs sticking into our backs. They did switch the room the next morning, but the beds were still lacking. I have never been so displeased with a hotel I've gotten.”

• Fine quality hotel. My room was quieter & more spacious than most hotels. Mattress was comfortable.
• Charged $0.85 for each local phone call, which, for me, included each time that I logged onto the Internet with my computer.

“Excellent value for the money that I paid! It would have been nice if the last hour or two of the pool hours were limited to adults only, so that an adequate "wind-down" period could be experienced. Location was great--very centrally located. The TV in my room was acting up, which was quite annoying.The free drink cards were a nice added bonus.I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but not at the standard rate. ”

• close to downtown St. Paul, excellent restaurant in hotel

“The location of the hotel was not easy to find, even with driving instructions it was difficult. It was close to downtown St. Paul which was great for tourist stops!! The hotel was relatively clean and the hotel staff were all very pleasant, respectful, and polite. However, the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. When you don't get a good nights sleep it makes the rest of the trip less enjoyable.”

• The pool area is spectacular. The site is very central in the TC area.

“The Four Points Sheraton Capitol is located off of I94 and is central to the TC area. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The pool area is part of an open atrium on the main floor which is very appealing. I found the staff to be courteous and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.”

• Great central location in the Twin Cities area!!
• It doesn't have a view of the downtown skyline.

“My fiance and I really enjoyed staying there last weekend. It was quiet, clean, and had nice amenities. The pool and hot tub also appeared in good condition, though we were too busy to try them. Perhaps the best aspect of this hotel is its central location in the Twin Cities, allowing for easy access to a range of sites.”

“We needed to retype a resume and were happy to find out they had a computer and printer we could use. One big problem was the printer was out of ink. They led us to believe they would go to the store and get one so we waited and waited but we saw the employee doing something else so he had no intention of helping us.”
