“The rooms were very clean, both had flat screen TVs that worked. My husband and I enjoyed the King size bed and spa tub, the children enjoyed having a separate room from us and their own beds. Our children are 14 and 15.” Oct 23, 2008 by
Debbie
“Our experience was great! We enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning and the staff gave us great directions to attractions we wanted to see.” Oct 18, 2008 by

“I was not happy and will not stay there again.” Sep 23, 2008 by

“Clean modern hotel with everything you need, close to great shopping and the beach also.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Susan from Savannah, GA
“This hotel was very nice, decorated pretty. One thing I think would of been nice is to have a few benches outside the entryway. We had to wait for people but had nowhere to sit. Standing is difficult. A few benches outside would of been nice.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Mike from Sheffield Lake, OH
“The location was perfect, for us. There was hardly any traffic noise (an occasional load motorcycle or car) heard from the highway. And Murrells Inlet traffic was far less busy than down town Myrtle Beach. This was our first time in Myrtle Beach and if we return we will most likely stay at this hotel. Very close to Huntington State Park, which you do have to pay to get into, but the beach was less crowded. Fast food and Sit Down restaurants next to the hotel and a shopping center across the street.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Bradley F. from Amelia, OH
“It was a well kept up hotel. You had to drive 20 minutes to get to myrtle beach, however, there was another beach that I had found closer. There were additional areas of dining for business associates and they had an updated news paper everyday. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.” May 14, 2008 by
Richard from Marion, SC
“I picked this hotel for it's location during the Myrtle Beach Spring Harley-Davidson Rally.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Mary from Springbrook, PA
“We have stayed at this hotel before and always find it to be clean, quiet and the staff to be exceptionally friendly and accommodating. My only request would be that they enter the 21st century and install internet access in the rooms.” Dec 5, 2007 by
Tonya from Whiteville, NC
“Good place to stay for a night or two.” Oct 31, 2007 by
Jennifer from Murrells Inlet, SC
“NA.” Sep 9, 2007 by
Jo from Toronto, ON CA
“The hotel was worth the price paid. Staff was friendly and attempted to locate information for me. My main problem with the hotel is the location. Its miles from anywhere. I went there because of the proximity to the National park and the Brookfield gardens. I thought I could use the public bus only to find out it only travels every 4 hours, if at all. Never did see the bus. I never got to either the garden or to the National park. It is essential to have a car. They even have drive-in pharmacies. Due to the location the hotel did not meet my needs.” Aug 31, 2007 by
Vickie from Florence, SC
“I will stay at this hotel again in the future. It was very clean, private, away from the crowds and the room was very nice and the bed was wonderful. Mattress and bedding excellent.” Aug 22, 2007 by
Ashley from Upstate SC
“Terrible. Pool was only heated by the little sunlight from the tinted windows. Housekeeping went through my luggage. They didn't speak much English. I was given shaving cream and then was charged full retail price for each bottle! I guess the owner needed another gold bracelet and chain for himself. But you know what they say "If you got it flaunt it." Yeah right. Trust me spend your good hard earned money elsewhere!” Aug 17, 2007 by
Priscilla from Fletcher, NC
“The hotel was not bad overall. The staff was kind of rude, even at check-in, and became even ruder when I had a problem. When we went out, I left the "do not disturb" tag on the door. When I came back, not only was my hotel door standing wide open, the room had been cleaned. I spoke to the front desk about it and the housekeeping manager told me that she had been in my room herself and there was no way the door was left open and that it was their policy to clean a room no matter if the "do not disturb" sign was hanging. As you can imagine, I was absolutely outraged. I finally just walked off - there was no reasoning with them.” Aug 14, 2007 by
Felicia from Waverly, VA
“This hotel was okay. The rooms didn't get cleaned until late afternoon. The continental breakfast was by no means deluxe. The staff seemed to be just doing a job, not to make you feel welcome.” Aug 3, 2007 by
Michelle from Danbury, CT
“This hotel was very nice and conveniently located to everything. The room was clean and comfortable. It would have been better if the couch were a little bigger, as it is a sleeper that is supposed to be for two but only one of my teenagers fit comfortably. I didn't like that the shower was so dark because there was no light above it. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.” Jul 9, 2007 by
Steven from West Columbia, SC
“Location is good; 5-10 minutes drive from the Inlet and restaurants and Bars. Right off of Hwy 17. Staff was not friendly when checking in or checking out. Little to no hot water when showering. Room was nice and clean, however the AC was not strong enough for room size; woke up three times throughout the night because it was too hot in the room, the air was on high.” Apr 5, 2007 by
Doc from Castle Hayne, NC
“Nice overall package. Free continental breakfast, comfortable rooms. Centrally located next door to a cracker barrel and several other small shops but lacks any real scenery.” Jan 18, 2007 by
Deborah from Bridgeport, CT
“The price was right.” Jan 2, 2007 by
John from League City, TX
“This hotel is located on the south end of myrtle beach and was convenient for our needs. Both the rooms and lobby were very clean and well kept. The continental breakfast was well stocked during serving hours.” Sep 7, 2006 by
Ron from Jackson, NJ
“Clean, nice room. convenient location to main roads. Close to but not in the congested resort area. Upscale continental breakfast. Helpful staff.” Jul 16, 2006 by
Linda from Anderson, SC
“Many positives at this hotel, however one reason we picked this place was that it had a indoor, heated pool. I was bringing 4 grandchildren who would want to play allot in the pool after spending time at the beach. The pool temperature was intolerable. Other guests agreed. I requested three times for a warmer pool and it never was any better. Then I was told by the manager that it was better and he would not listen to me. I did request some compensation and he refunded & 50.00. I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the manager's attitude.” Apr 27, 2006 by
Marjie from Sumter, SC
“The Holiday Inn express was good for our purposes. My kids really enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was well done. The cinnamon rolls are very good. I would have liked to spend less money but this was a quality place near my son's campground with the safety and swimming pool features that we were looking for.” Apr 6, 2006 by
Daniel from Apex, NC
“Room was clean and well decorated. All facilities appeared well kept and close to new. Staff was helpful and friendly. Indoor pool was nice and clean. All in all a quality 2-2 1/2 star hotel and an excellent value.” Oct 19, 2005 by
Lisa from Lake Worth, FL
“Thank you for making a special wedding weekend great. There were laundry machines and ironing board as well as a gym and indoor pool. The only mark I have against your particular gym was that when we entered for the first time after checking in. None on the equipment worked.” Oct 17, 2005 by
Kelly from Southern Pines, NC
“Great room and breakfast. Easy access to Myrtle Beach or areas south.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Thomas from Clayton, NC
“Nice location, clean rooms, decent breakfast and helpful staff. Off 17 Bus just enough to be quiet, but close enough to the highway and the inlet to be a nice find!” Aug 14, 2005 by
Pamela from Richmond, VA
“Overall, this hotel was wonderful! It was the perfect size. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great because it was close to the beach and all the action but not too close.” Jul 31, 2005 by
William from Arnold, MO
“The hotel was very clean, and the people were friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice place to stay. The location of the hotel was great. I would choose this hotel over any beach front hotel anyday.” Jun 23, 2005 by
Shawna from Hixson, TN
“I was really impressed with the hotel as a Whole... They had a Great Breakfast every morning! none of that donuts & coffee amateur stuff... It appeared as though they were really trying to make nice improvements all around.” Jun 2, 2005 by
Kelly from Donalds, SC
“We really enjoyed our stay, and the fact that we stayed for approx. 50% the cost was outstanding. It really helps with a big family vacation.”
