• Location was amazing. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to see.
• The halls smelled like smoke but the room did not.

“The hotel was in a great location. Close to the beach, downtown, USS Yorktown, Magnolia Plantation, and many other atttractions. There was plenty of things to eat around the hotel as well as plenty of places to shop. The halls smelled a little. The air condition was very loud. The bathroom was small but the shower was surprisingly big. I would recommended this hotel.”

• Friendly staff. Room was very clean.
• Smelled smoky. Old interior. Needs to be overhauled on inside.

“Shabby interior but clean. Smelled smoky, which was not appreciated by group. Continental breakfast was meager, but it existed and was neatly presented and appeared clean and sanitary. Wouldn't stay there again but it was not awful.”

• Liked the luggage carts available.
• Would have liked a freezer in the fridge.

“I found nothing to complain about in this hotel. It suited our purposes and budget, with no unpleasant surprises. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.”

• The deluxe continental breakfast was very good and plentiful.
• The room was not cleaned well or not at all.

“Good and plentiful continental breakfast. We had to request that the bathroom floor be washed as it was soiled and sticky. It did not look like the room was cleaned, only new towels were left.”

• The staff went the extra mile for us. Very friendly and super helpful.
• The teeny tiny swimming pool.

“Perfect location to get to all the attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet and a continental breakfast worth getting up for! Would recommend to everyone and will definitely stay there on my next trip to Charleston!”

• Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good.

• Such a comfortable bed and the continental breakfast had numerous options, including hot items.
• Parking is pretty limited if you get back to the hotel after eleven P.M.

“The Sleep Inn is a great price for moderate accommodations. We love it because we spend most of our time at the beach but love the comfortable bed to come back to and the location is ideal.”

• Tiny bathroom with no tub, only a shower.

“This hotel had adequate facilities which would suffice a traveler who would be staying for a short period of time. The small bathroom and vanity area would not accommodate a long stay at this hotel if you had a family in the room.”

• It was easy to find and it had a decent pool.
• The hotel room smelled like cigarette smoke.

“The hotel room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and was very compact. They did not even have a bathroom door that swung open, for the sake of space, it was a sliding door.”

• Great price and location. 10 mins to Beach and 5 mins to downtown.
• They did not take our trash when they cleaned our room.

“The hotel was great overall. Check-in: When I went to check in I had my credit card in hand just in case they needed it. But I just had to tell them my name and they gave us the keys to the room. Maid: One day we did wake up late and the maid never came to our room because we had the do not disturb sign on our door. Instead they came and left towels in a bag by the door. Also a few nights we ate pizza in our room and when we came back that night, the boxes were still there along with all the other trash we had but the bed was made. Breakfast awesome! That is all. Pool: Looked really nice but not really used since beach was so close. Bathroom: The shower was nice but we wished the bathroom was a little bigger (It was about 8 x 3 ft and just had the shower and the toilet) so wouldn't track water on the floor. The door to the shower also leaks a little at the bottom. Room: Nice room. It had safe, fridge, and microwave. The TV also had A/V jacks on the front so we could plug up our WiFi with ease for the nights we stayed in. The wireless Internet was easy to connect to. I needed to do laundry but I didn't have to hotel do it because it was so expensive ($5 for a shirt). I went to a local dry cleaners. We had a really nice time and for being our first vacation as a couple we really enjoyed it. Would definitely stay again!”

• Shower large enough for two. Lots of pillow. Very clean.
• Complimentary breakfast very slow. Needs more than one waffle maker.

“It was a large, clean, comfortable room. The shower was huge, large enough for two. The only minor complaint is that there was only one waffle maker at breakfast, so there was a long wait. But great room for the price!”

• Great location, close to lots of great activities.
• The bathroom wasn't clean.

“This hotel was reasonable for the money and the area. Although driving anywhere is essential, the location is close to anything one would want to do downtown or in the surrounding areas. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide variety of foods.”

• Location was perfect for our trip.
• After we had paid for the room, we were told is was a smoking room.

“The hotel lobby was clean. Although it was a smoking room, it was obvious housekeeping had made no attempt to sanitize for odor. The bathroom floor was not as clean as I would have expected.”
