• The staff was excellent, Friendly, excellent service.
• TV, no refrig or microwave in the room.

“Okay for an overnight trip and might be okay for summer, I did not see the pool. Hard to find at night, the sign for the road was not lit. The staff was great, friendly, and very accommodating.”

• With all the great views in the area their did'nt seem to be a good one from the hotel.

• The beds wore the most uncomfotable beds we have ever slept in at a Holiday Inn.

“The beds should be pulled out and replaced!Sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable.Hotel staff said basically to bad! The breakfast buffet looked like leftovers from the day before so we did not eat at hotel. The location was very good.”

“I had a room on the 5th floor and it was recently renovated. Nice granite vanity in bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows. The AC was a little noisy but not too bad. Room had fridge but no microwave. Overall, a great value. Very convenient location.”

• Some of the hotel staff was rude. Trying to be funny, but really just annoying.

“Hotel was nice and clean. Very convenient location. First night restaurant grill was broken, but then fixed the next night. Front desk person that checked me in didn't seem to be paying much attention. Bartender was rude and inappropriate comment when I attempted to order a glass of water with my alcoholic beverage. The hotel was nice, the staff needs an upgrade. I won't be staying at this hotel or dining in their restaurant any time soon.”

• Very clean and smelled clean!

“Hotel was very nice and clean, the beds were too small for two people to share. Pillows were too flat. Staff was great! The cleaning crew did a great job. Needs to add a hot tub. I really liked the bathroom, it was very nice, the room was average to other places, nothing special about that part. Need refrigerator/microwave/safe in the rooms.”

• The view and the toiletries.

“It is a better Holiday Inn than most I've stayed at, and it seems to be very well insulated against noise, both inside and out. Front desk staff on both day and night shifts were wonderful, efficient, and very friendly.”

• Convenient to Ravenel Bridge.
• Very small and cramped rooms.

I stayed here waiting to get our apartment in Mount Pleasant, SC. The first room
was quite musty smelling and had some bugs. They were very accommodating to us and promptly moved us to another room. The rooms were clean but cramped, almost like a small dorm room. The hotel is perfect for a business traveler but not for families.”

• They shouldn't let people smoke out in front of the hotel.

“Good hotel. Near the beach and to the city. Room was clean, but the restaurant/bar was not accessible from the pool, nor did they service people there. So it isn't for that. More of a business hotel than a leisure hotel.”

• The pool area, very pretty, made me want to sit on the patio and have dinner.
• You could see excessive caulking around the sink area, TV didn't work, and my key didn't work.

• Front desk clerk.
• Beds had fleas or bugs we kept getting bitten. Also hotel did not have a microwave as stated, and it was not at the Isle of Palms.

“The Hotel is good for people only wishing to stay a night or two. I would not recommend to anyone traveling with younger children or an infant for more than a couple of nights. The hotel states it has a microwave, but it did not. We had to beg the front desk clerk for a room with a mini fridge to store our baby bottles. The room itself was not very clean, stains on bedspreads and furniture, hair on the floor and in shower. Also because the hotel accepts pets, I think that are why our room had fleas we all left with little red bites all over our bodies!”

• The size of the room was a surprise. We expected a normal hotel room. We got a king suite.
• The only thing we didn't like was the distance to the beach, which we can't blame the hotel for.

“Very nice, good location, nice staff. However, the exercise room was below par. I also enjoy hotels where there is complimentary breakfasts because you can eat and get to where you are going quickly, rather than go somewhere else, sit and take a lot of time. Also, there was no complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby.”

• The people at the front desk were friendly.
• The toilet was nasty. We called the front desk and told them but they never cleaned it.

“One thing I didn't like is that they had a guy power washing out front about 10:30 am. The water was spraying all over me. Something like that needs to be done early before guests are coming and going.”

• The gym was awful. I felt like I made a trip back to the 80's.

“The hotel was in a great location and was clean but I would not consider it to be a 3 star hotel. I think that a two star would be more accurate. The gym was embarrassing. They had 4 cardio machines and they were straight out of the 80's. The bike had duct tape around the seat stem and had please do not adjust written with a sharpie. I don't expect the gym to be top of the line but duct tape. Seriously? I use the gym at every hotel I stay at and this was hands down the worst gym I have ever seen. They need to spend the money and upgrade.”

• Nice pool, kids eat free at breakfast, free internet.
• Cigarette odor came in from bathroom vents. Room smelled. Poor beds.

“This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. The beds were horrible and they boast a pillow menu but the pillows and beds at Hampton Inn are so much better. The room AC was set at 50 degrees and when we turned it to 72, we could smell urine. Obviously, the maids turned up the AC to mask the smell. Also, each evening and morning, the adjoined room where our kids slept smelled like cigarettes. the front desk. The hotel pool is nice and free internet is a plus as well.”

• Located 10 minutes from the Isle Of Palms and downtown.
• Rooms were very humid/musty. We changed rooms because the first room smelled of cigarette smoke.
