• close to highway Close to highway.
• I was charged before check in when told I would be charged at checkout.

• It was convenient and wasn't noisy
• Cigarette butts in no smoking area and the general cleanliness of the rooms and halls were not very good

“We were just looking for a place to sleep but I would have been disappointed if we had paid a lot of money because I felt it could have been a lot cleaner.”

• The only place in Monroeville with a room when I needed it.
• This motel is pretty much a flea-bag.

“No problems checking in. I was immediately struck by the shabbiness of the building. Room was acceptable, except that the bed did not appear to have been changed. All in all, not worth the room rate - even if it is the cheapest place in town. Next time I'll pay a little more for a better place.”

• It was close to RT 79 which made it convenient, for the money it was a good room.
• The coffee pot did not work, the room was clean, but the hallways were not.

“The room was clean, but the hallways were not. The coffee pot was broken, but the lobby had a continental breakfast which helped. I would stay there again.”

• No one bothered me in my room.
• They didn't have what was in the pictures in my room. Gave away my smoking room.

“The coffee pot burned my wife and went all over, I was made to get my own key card for my room twice as they didn't work properly. The internet service was horrible. There was a tub and mirror like a hot tub and that was not in my room like as anticipated. Over all it sucked for what I thought I was getting. There was dirt behind the dressers, I had to screw in the cable line, There was mold and cracked ceilings.”

• Dirty Bathroom floor, coffee pot, sheets had old stains, comforters were so wore out.
  

“Nighttime clerk was efficient, but not friendly at all. There was hair on bathroom floor; I had to scrub out coffee pot to use it. The comforters were worn out, and the first night sheets looked like they were being recycled. The continental breakfast was great. Could use more lighting in the back of the motel. Good location.

• Paint splotches on ceiling, wall in bath room was caving in.

• Nice clean modern rooms.
• Really bad road access!

“Modern hotel with nice, clean rooms but terrible to try to access from the main road. The signs are poorly marked and the driveway to the hotel is shared with another business, making things more confusing. Worse, that driveway is next to another for a closed business with no access through that parking lot to the hotel. Every time I returned to the hotel I made an error trying to hit the right driveway, especially bad if you're arriving at night. Great place for the price.”

• The large King sized bed!
• Not enough bath towels! I have hair well past my waist.

“It was almost dark when I arrived and I had an early morning meeting, so I really can't review much except the actual room.”

• Cleanliness, comfortable bed, friendly service.
• Bathtub is on a different level from the floor.

“Reasonable location. Once off the main street, we had real difficulty to find our way to the Main Entrance because the direction was lacking. (a major problem arriving very tired on the middle of the night) Very nice clean room and comfortable beds. The room door lock opener card was not working consistently, was intermittent and very frustrating experience. The screws holding the lock assembly were completely loose, so was the security latch.”

“Large room with excellent ingress and egress onto busy Pittsburgh streets. Enough offered for breakfast although the seating area was very crowded.”

• The desk clerk was very friendly.
• The room was not really clean and the tub was a little moldy.

“The hotel was very old. The rooms opened to the outside. While, it looked like they tired to renovate, the job did not take care of the dirt underneath the renovations.”

• It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located.
• Breakfast area got a little crowded.

“Overall, the only thing that disappointed us was about the immediate area in Monroeville, strictly not the hotel's responsibility. Specifically, the provision of sidewalks in the neighborhood of the hotel is almost completely lacking, making it hard to walk to breakfast.”

• I got a newspaper on my way out.
• Missed wake up call, late night noise.

“I had taken this hotel off your offerings. From a sketchy atmosphere (pit bull dogs , drinking, out of control parties), to loud noises (of guests, and garbage trucks at 1 am on a biz night), to not getting wake up call, 11 am checkout when itinerary said noon (and an irritating employee telling me I had to get out right away) the front desk was "kind" enough to show me on their wall and on the sheet I signed checking in that checkout was 11 (after he couldn¿t find it on the room card sleeve) and refusing to acknowledge my online itinerary which is what I checked and went by. Not for the faint of heart. Would only recommend for men who want cheap and can put up with the very sketchy environment. Females and families have no business being here!”

• The motel was pet friendly and that is what I was looking for in this area.
• The breakfast could have had more selection.

“I stayed at the Monroeville Days Inn while attending a dog show at the David Lawrence Convention Center. The Inn was nice and easy to get to and there where also lots of places to shop and eat. The room had a microwave and refrigerator for a very reasonable price. Actually the best price that I have seen in a couple of years.”

• Very quiet and non-smoking was non-smoking.
• The buffet breakfast.

“The hotel was no more and no less - an inn type. They had coffee but no microwave to warm food that you bring in.”

• I loved the firm mattress, got a good nights sleep.
• I didn't see the continental breakfast hours posted in the room.

• I was able to have my golden retriever with me.
• Grounds of motel were messy- litter.

“Staff wasn't exceptional, but pleasant and adequate. Room was pleasant and clean; grounds were littered, grass was shaggy. I was especially pleased because I was able to bring my dog. I had needed an iron at one point. Staff pleasantly told me they had 4- one was out on loan; other three looked blackened and would probably burn my clothes. (this was an inconvenience) Not a bad place to stay- for me- the dog aspect made it all worthwhile. Other dog people would probably agree.”

• Recently updated room, new bathroom.
• Alarm clock that kept changing time. Woke me up three times before it should.

“Good location for my visit, easy to navigate around the area. Good choice of places to eat around the hotel.”
