• The lobby was gorgeous, hallways clean.
• The tub had been refinished at some point and the paint was peeling.

“It was actually quite lovely inside. It had an historic feel. We understand they are closing for renovation. I hope they don't spoil the "historic" feel. One huge negative was the view from our room onto a filthy courtyard filled with trash, overgrowth, and mechanical equipment.”

• Very old. Very North in the zone.

• The hotel is used as a training facility for students.
• Very unorganized and use the students as their excuse. Could it be the trainers.

“Hotel has a lot of potential and using the facility for a training establishment is great. Just need to be a little more structured for what the real world expects.”

• I liked the hotel decor as well as the size of the room. The Continental breakfast was satisfactory.
• The bathroom was old with grout separating from the tile.

“Overall, the hotel was nice and I will likely stay there again.”

• The staff was very helpful
• Bathroom faucet not working, no room service available, pool out of area,

“I don't think this hotel is a three star, I would rate it two or less, is small and old building, the restaurant was closed at lunch time, room service wasn't available because there's only one person attending the bar and room service, in the sink there's no hot water, the faucet was broken, the bath looks old”

• The night clerk helped me call for a pizza at 1 am.
• It is not a 3 star hotel. Only basic accomidations, breakfast was horrible - service and food.

“Every time I asked for assistance in locating a tourist destination, the clerk did not know where anything was. They greatly underestimated the price of a taxi to South Beach and did not have good information on the buses. The breakfast staff, especially the chef was downright rude.”

• Lack of maintenance, signs that hotel needs various repairs

“Although located on the intercoastal and a few blocks from beach, this hotel needs some attention to bring facilities up to proper repair. There are 2 buildings and the 2nd building is not by water and one has to cross street to get to pool and waterview. ”

• Their morning staff was much better than the one that checked me in
• Everything else....

“The restaurant is accross the street and the staff is not hospitable at all. the bathroom stinks....with stains, the a/c is not good at all. this should be a 1 star. the only going for this place is having a living room and a bedroom. but not in top shape at all. ”

“Hotel has two buildings. The main building where the lobby and the reception is and the other one across the street that includes a restaurant and additional rooms. In this second building I stayed in two different rooms in two nights and there was a big rooftop AC system noise which makes it hard for the guests to have a second of silence to sleep. It is very noisy and in the room closer to the AC system we could even feel the vibration.Rooms were clean but really very higher than a renovated motel quality.”

• I liked the comfort of the bed.
• I did not like the limited parking, bad continental breakfast and no refrigerator.

“Staying at the Bay Harbor Inn was ok but nothing to get excited about. The only thing good about this hotel was the comfortable bed. That's it?!*”

“The facility is very old and basic. It is so old that you can smell it. Does not have an elevator so we have to leave our big trunk in the car. The noise from either a pump or some sort of engine kept my husband awake all night. There is no extra pillow or quilt in the room. When we ask for two more pillow, we only got one as they run out. I have to say the staff are very nice and try to be helpful in general and the breakfast is satisfactory.”
