• Location.
• It was in need of a spruce up. It looked old and tired. Also, no gym, no parking, and the staff was not very helpful.

“This hotel was such a disappointment. It needed to be renovated and aired out. The incense they burned to hide the mold smell was overpowering and at times suffocating. Hated that I had to pay 15 dollars to be a guest at the local crunch gym (that was awesome celebrity sightings!) They did not offer chairs for the beach, and we had to pay 10$ for each chair and umbrella. Parking was also an additional 27 dollars per day. Way overpriced when you take into account all the alla carte fees that apply and no pool. Never again. Better to pay a little extra and get a pool, gym and chairs.”

• Wonderful front desk staff, on the beach, beautiful room.
• The continental breakfast set-up and staff were very disappointing.

“A cozy boutique hotel directly facing South Beach but not within ear shot of the busier, louder hotel/restaurants on Ocean Boulevard. The room was beautifully decorated, but the walls were rather thin. The front desk staffers (Jeffrey and Charlene) were extremely helpful regarding dinner suggestions. We were within walking distance of Lincoln Mall's shops and restaurants, and could be at a party club within 4 minutes.”
