“I can honestly say that the room was clean! The lack of parking was not mentioned (had to park across the street for an extra $10.00) Continental Breakfast consisted of coffee and some pastries. Although the location did serve our purpose, I would not stay again.” Dec 15, 2006 by

“I visited Miami for the first time in November, after deciding to go on a mini vacation. Originally, I decided on another hotel, but after reading the reviews & seeing the price, I changed my mind to the green view. I am really happy that I did! The rooms were nice w/ hardwood floors, and a nice mat, but I found it hard on the feet. The elevator is something to get accustomed to, it¿s small, and very eccentric; when it stops on the floor, and it¿s with a jolt; me and another guest laughed about it. The location is awesome. You are two blocks from the ocean; everything is within walking distance, like shops, restaurants, clubs, bakeries. The staff was nice; I had one problem with being at this hotel, but would stay here again. My issue was that no one informed me that I would have to put down a security hold on the room. The desk clerk informed that it would only be used if there is something wrong w/ the room; when I returned home, I noticed that the money was still on hold. I called and spoke w/ the manager, who explained that the money was still there, and to give my account time to show that - he was right but I did not like the fact that no one told me until I was checking in about the security hold. I thought that when I booked online, everything, about lodging was taken care of so just know to expect that. Oh - the food was good in the morning too, and the hotel had a daily newspaper on each floor, which I found nice. Nice hotel, friendly staff, awesome location!” Feb 27, 2005 by

“We stayed at the Greenview South Beach Hotel for three nights. It was a wonderful experience, especially as I was quite nervous having read really scarey reviews for other hotels in the area. The Greenview is not extravagent, but very attractive, clean and comfortable. The rooms look as though they have all been completely redone recently, with an attractive white and cream color scheme, and none of the old type furniture it seems have been left in so many of the other hotels.Although the hotel is not on the ocean, it's an easy two blocks walk away from the ocean and everything else in South Beach. There is convenient parking directly across the road during the week and one block away during weekends for $8/day. It is also not directly on Ocean Drive or Espanola Drive, but minutes away, which makes for a very peaceful, non-late-night-rowdy sleep at night. Everything was extremely clean, and all the staff (both at the front desk and cleaning the rooms) were extremely friendly and helpful.I would definately go back there.” 4 of 4 people found this review helpful.Sep 30, 2004 by

Corie H. from Belton, MO “I paid 55 per night plus tax and insurance. Then when I got to the hotel for my reservation they added an extra 10 per night for two beds when I reserved for two persons. I even called the hotel before I arrived to make sure I had two beds and they confirmed and did not say that there was an extra charge. I was not pleased with that at all.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
