• The ice machine was near my room.
• If I only have 20 words there isn't enough room.

“The volume or channel up on the TV remote didn't work, the hotel smelled of stale smoke despite going smoke free, the first floor windows were the ones that opened inward, in a handicap room, the bathroom lights were well inside the bathroom, not right inside the door as they should be, I didn't have a bath mat and therefore fell when getting out of the shower, the entry switch was up for off down for on, the air conditioner didn't work very well.”

• Would never had made reservation if I'd known if was nonsmoking.

“Nice place. Room was clean and fresh. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location perfect. Unfortunately my husband is a smoker and had to go down, the hall, and out a security door just to smoke. I would never have knowingly made a reservation in a nonsmoking facility unless the unit had a direct door to outside.”

• The continental breakfast was excellent!
• Room was a bit small. Had to maneuver around chair.

“This was a great hotel for the price paid. Had all the basic necessities for a short stay. The staff was courteous and pleasant. Another good feature was free wife. Very close to exit 11 on route 3, conveniently located.”

• I loved the people that worked there, they were very friendly and willing to joke around with us while still being smart about what place to eat.
• The room was a little small, but more than worth its price and.

• The ambience was new England is and beautiful.
• Sidewalk needed to be shoveled near handicap parking spaces.

• No vending machines on some floors.

“Very comfortable hotel, nice room and friendly staff. I would have liked to have seen a soda and snack vending machine on each floor but that is certainly not a deal breaker. Great location and many restaurants and stores within walking distance.”

• The staff was extremely helpful.
• The room was a bit cramped.

“This was a perfect hotel for our purposes. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The location was just seconds away from the highway so travel was easy. The staff was helpful in aiding us with directions to our destination. Would stay there again without hesitance if I am in the area again.”

• Exceptional front desk staff. Quiet rooms.
• Parking lot full. We had to wait until someone left to park the car.

“This hotel was fine for a budget stay, but woefully understaffed at the check-out counter. Some of the staff at the check-in counter was fantastic, but there was no way one person on duty - even at more off peak times - was enough, and when that person got cranky and flustered, it was understandable, but not pleasant. I made several calls and even checked with the front desk during our stay to be sure we would be in the same room both nights. I felt that the staffs were very accommodating, but that their systems had a really hard time linking our second day. Whenever I inquired, they had a hard time seeing that I had 2 not 1 day, and even when I checked out they told me nothing was charged to my credit card. They gave me a receipt showing a zero balance for what I later figured out was only one of the two days and my credit card ended up having extra charges for the second day. The room itself was fine and the bed was comfy enough, but definitely 1-star quality.”

“Could be a nice hotel - decor is nice, carpet clean and in good shape without stains, bathroom new, but heater was dirty, artwork in the bathroom had a big water stain, TV was very fuzzy. Parking was full so I had to park on the grass. Not great but what I would expect from a 2 star hotel.”

• As I mentioned -asking me to move to another room for the smoking cleaning.

• The entrance was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The rooms were a good size. The beds and pillows were comfortable.
• An indoor pool would have made it perfect. My children would have loved to have gone for a swim while it was snowing outside.

“Our overall stay, which was just one night, was comfortable. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised when we reached the hotel to find it so homey and warm. Again, the entrance was decorated beautifully.”
