“This hotel is extremely overpriced for the quality. The room smelled bad, no screens on the window, cracks throughout the walls, the room was dirty. It was a bad experience and we will not stay there again.”

• The closeness of a family home.
• Our room wasn't dirty but elevator and the pool area were.

“Continental breakfast was good we ate it every morning. Our room was clean. But the surroundings were not clean.”

• We were in a perfect location, close to attractions we wanted to visit.
• The room was a little small, but clean & comfortable nonetheless.

“For a very reasonable price, this hotel was close to many attractions we wanted to see. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast area is much nicer than in many similar hotels. For a family traveling on a budget but wanting a clean and respectable place to stay, this is the one.”

• Great room! For the overnight traveler, perfect hotel.
• Room was right across from elevator - could hear other guests easily.

“Nice location, local eatery and grocery store within walking distance. Hotel staff very friendly even during rush of check ins. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for overnight or extended stay.”

• The staff was friendly.
• The "hot tub" was not hot at all.

“The hotel was fine. We enjoyed our stay except for the hot tub. The water was not hot at all, in fact it was cold. The staff said that the temperature had been messed up for awhile. It sure needs to be fixed.”

• Location to venues was good.
• Put me in a smoking room I do not smoke and it reeked!

“The staff was friendly. I received a smoking room and I do not smoke and the room smelled really strong of cigarettes. I thought it wouldn't make a lot of difference, but the smell was very strong. Breakfast was nice.”

• The front desk person that checked me in was very helpful & friendly.
• Keeping the TV. In the breakfast room on fox news.

“I enjoyed my stay there except for the front desk worker on the day of my check out. She was very rude when I asked her if I could change the channel in the breakfast room for my kids. She told me that I could not because the d.m. Wants the TV. On fox news. I was the only one in the breakfast room and spent most of the time explaining the gore of war to my 3 young children.”

• I would have liked to know what restaurants or attractions were close to the hotel.

• Very clean and fairly spacious. Hot day but ac worked great.
• Exercise facility was right next to heated pool and the room was too hot and humid.

• It was clean.
• Rude staff. Loud, unable to sleep.

“I travel frequently and was appalled by the extremely poor customer service. A wedding party was also staying and kept me up all night long with loud talking and slamming doors. My phone was malfunctioning so I couldn't call to the front desk. I was by myself and didn't feel comfortable roaming the halls in the middle of the night to go down in person to ask for them to keep the other guests quiet. The next morning the desk clerk was unsympathetic and basically told me it wasn't their problem but the travel site I booked through. I called later and got them same extremely rude responses. I have never been treated so poorly”

• No information about the tunnel facility next door.

“We have stayed at this hotel three different occasions this year. I find myself comparing other hotels to this one. Love it and would recommend this hotel for families, business travelers and people just cruising through. Wonderful food, close to other eating establishments, kids tunnel facility next door so the children can run off some of their energy, warm swimming pool. Always has super clean rooms. Great place.”

• The breakfast was appealing and a good selection of food.
• The mattress cover and fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the bed.

• The location and the price were great.
• The pool was not usable so it was hard to entertain my kids in the evening without going somewhere and spending more money.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with children or on business. The pool was not usable so I had to spend money to go to the movies to entertain my kids in the evening. Then the wake-up call system was not working so we overslept and missed the free breakfast, maybe that¿s how they keep their costs down on the food. I heard a lot of people complaining about the hotel as we were checking out.”

• The pool was warm, business center, and free internet.
• The rooms facing the freeway were noisy. It is also the exit for a hospital.

“Great hotel for families and business. Free internet and well equipped business center. Faxing available. Warm pool and Jacuzzi close enough to watch the kids. Tunnel voyager next door for the kids. Good range of food places within walking distance. Will stay there again.”

“Excellent value. Noticed a few things that needed to be fixed such as lights out in main area chandelier and the pool area needed attention due to mildew and rust. Second day there the lights were being replaced and the pool area was being redone. I will definitely stay there again.”

• The location is excellent. The breakfast is a wonderful touch.
• The treadmill was not in working order in the fitness room.

“This is an excellent hotel for families. The location is great. It is close to the malls for shopping and not very far from the ballpark. It is so close to Kansas City but yet it had a nice quiet remote feeling. There is a Tunnel Voyage right next door for the kids. This is a very clean motel with an excellent staff.”

• Very comfortable, and it was off busy streets so it was quiet.
• They put us in a room that someone had gotten sick, and the motel was not full.

“They put us in a room that someone had vomited in, so the smell was unbearable We requested a new room and they were quick to move us. Our message light kept blinking, and they said their phones were messed up. All in all it was pleasant and clean when we got our new room.”

• This hotel is NOT on the interstate, which makes the rooms very quiet.
• Elevator is hot.

“This hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection, and plenty for all the guests. The staff made every effort to accommodate our need for adjoining rooms (even at the last minute). This hotel was one of the few that have queen size beds in their double rooms. Even though there were young softball players staying at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at the level of quietness we enjoyed. Overall this was a great hotel. We would stay again.”

• Hotel was clean and new looking. Rooms were spotless clean.
• Breakfast was minimal at best. No fruit at all on Sunday.

• We were at a conference so only had a short time in the afternoons. Enjoy the pool and hot tub.
• I can't think of anything. It was very nice.

• We did not get room service (bed change & room clean) one night.
