• Convenience to spots we visited and met with other family.
• Ran out of food and plates. Failed to clean room 1 day.

“The hotel is smaller than most Fairfield Inns but is clean and staff tries to fix things quickly but did not appear to have the resources available to complete the task. There was a dog in the room next door during the first night we checked in but staff had indicated that pets were not allowed. Use of in door pool near our room exceeded published hours.”

• Cleaner newer hotel.
• Although a name brand hotel it was rather plain.

“Good hotel with a good name brand. Hotel was very new but very plain. Good for a family or business traveler but not recommended for someone wanting a romantic getaway. Hotel said continental breakfast was included. Breakfast was far better than continental. Though it was all self serve they had a waffle maker, various cereals, muffins, rolls, mini fridge with breakfast sandwiches, assorted juices and coffees. Hotel also had a very small but clean pool. Overall it was a very nice yet plain jane hotel.”

• Travel a lot this was the most comfortable bed I have been on in years.
• Elevator entrance was not classic.

• The staff go overboard with kindness for patrons.
• No pets were allowed and there was a dog barking!

• Breakfast was pretty darn good.
• Dirty floors and crumbs in the bed from last visitor. Not cleaned well.

“When I checked in they gave me the keys to the wrong room. It was occupied by two people whom I walked in on, because I had been given a key to their room. They were in their under garments. The manager didn't apologize when I told him what he had done. I was honestly shocked at how unconcerned he was.”

• Simply clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful.
• Breakfast.

“Compared to the Comfort Inn in Blue Springs, the Fairfield Inn is a 5 star resort. The Comfort Inn in Blue Springs rivals some of the worst Motel 6 hotels I've had to stay in. That motel should not be rated a 2 star!”

• Staff was very nice.
• Hot tub did not work and this is why I selected the hotel.

“I think it is a clean place and the people are always wonderful. However there are so few things to keep up and the hot tub should have been working. It is the very reason I went there. No one really seemed concern to get it working.”

• Staff very friendly and accommodating, enjoyed the hot tub.
• The water in the heated pool, needed to be warmer.

• It was some distance from where our meeting was but that was not that big of deal.

• The beds were very comfortable.
• The heater seemed to work overly well.

“Our family stayed at this hotel over the new year¿s holiday. We found the room very clean and beds very comfortable. We had a hard time trying to the get the heater at just the right temperature, but that may do to user error. The staff was very helpful and for a 2 star hotel, it was very nice. There were a lot of kids in the indoor pool, sometimes a little loud. If you coming with a family you should fit in quite nicely and suit your needs.”

• The free breakfast was one of the best that I have ever seen.
• Our coffee maker in our room didn't have the lid, so it wouldn't perk.

“This hotel is adequate. I would give it a one star rating. It smelled bad and that gave the whole place a bad tone. It looked clean, but did not smell clean. I would not stay there again.”

• All of the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

“The breakfast was delicious. The staff helped me with my breakfast selection. Everyone was very friendly. I really liked my room. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.”

“Good news! The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located. The mattress was comfortable. Bad News! The non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. There is only one ice machine and it's on the first floor!”

• Few amenities. Need more breakfast choices, too many carbs.

“The facility was overall quite clean and the staff exceptionally friendly. Considering the chain this hotel is a part of, it is not up to snuff with the expectations one might have of a hotel in this company. Rooms were similar in size and decor to something you would pay much less for. Most annoying was that to get a room with a refrigerator and microwave combo, you had to pay $10 extra a night. Even to have it brought to your room you'd have to pay that difference. Consider staying elsewhere if paying full price, perhaps in Independence near the mall. Not many great choices in Lees Summit.”

• We got a great deal
• No one cleaned our room

“The first room we were sent to, was not clean. So I went back to the front desk and she gave us a new room. It was dirtier than the first room. We just shut the opened and shut the door. Finally on the third try, we got a clean room and our stay was fine other than that.”

“I called before my arrival to request a non-smoking king size bed and I was told by a very rude woman from the hotel that I cannot make these types of requests and I have to take whatever is available upon my arrival. When I arrived the people at the hotel were very nice and I ended up getting the room I requested.”
