• Free apples in the lobby.
• The curtains were sheer and let in some lighting the morning.

“This is great for a business traveler and they have free shuttles to te airport every 15 min. As well as free Internet.”

• Easy access to LGA airport and public transportation.

“Overall, had a very enjoyable stay. This is one of the cleanest hotels in the area and also recent upgrades and friendly staff. I will be definitely using this hotel for my stays while in NYC.”

• Very clean overall, felt very safe, spacious rooms, and
  complimentary internet.
• Not close to any subway station - only bus lines.

“Hotel exceeded my expectations. Free internet that worked really fast, swirlpool by the fitness center, very friendly personnel and happenings every evening (including free drinks, free caricatures, and so on). Outside pool was not yet open for the season. Room was clean and spacious. This was a true 3-star hotel.”

• Convenient, quiet, spacious and friendly.

“Everything was very good. Until I was ready to travel the next morning at 4.15am. I was totally disappointed, and almost lost my flight. However, I reported it to the front desk who then allowed me to use the internet. Other than that my stay was quite good.

• The evening event because the person running them was very friendly.
• No direct access to outside from stairs.

• Very clean and close to the airport. I had a 6AM flight so I picked this hotel. I would stay again.
• You have to pay for parking.

“Excellent service, very clean. Very close to LGA. The only down side is you have to pay $19.00 a day for parking.”

• The staff was incredible and very helpful!

“The hotel was very resourceful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. It isn't close to Times squares, however the staff gave great directions to get there! I was very pleased with the service and if I ever return back to NY, I will definitely consider staying there again!”

• Shuttle service picked up from the airport in a prompted manner.
• There was"t any dislikes.

“When In arrived to New York it was cold and my
room was cold however they sent maintains up immediately after calling the front desk. Maintains advised me that the heater would be working after he did something in the room he then said give me 15-20 min after I get downstairs and I'll have it fixed and he did.”

• Attractive and quiet with helpful staff.
• The concierge was not helpful in making recommendations for restaurants off the property.

“Attractive, spacious, and quiet (despite its proximity to LaGuardia airport), the room was comfortable, the public spaces were attractive, and the staff was generally helpful. If you want dinner off the property, though, does your homework first as the concierge probably won't help you too much with that?”

“The hotel was in a good location and easy to find. Clean and had friendly service. Free martinis, cookies, newspaper delivered to your room and free coffee in the lobby were a nice touch. The parking was expensive but other than that I'd recommend the hotel.”

• Staff very helpful and pleasant.
• Stale baked goods at breakfast bar.

“Very nice, clean, comfortable hotel (both rooms and common areas). Large outdoor pool, hot tub, exercises room. Staff very accommodating. Airport shuttle convenient and 24 hours. Metro passes available at hotel. Bus stop one block away. Easy transfer to subway. Took about 40 minutes to get downtown from hotel. Enjoyed our stay.”

“It is good for business traveler because it has shuttle to airport and fast internet access. However, it is in a little isolated area, if you take the public transportation back to the hotel at night, you have to be a little cautious.”

• The people were very friendly.
• The bath tub did not drain well. The staff was not knowledgeable of places to go for shopping. For eating only recommended what was on their sheet.

“This hotel is suited for people who are only in town for business. Definitely not a pleasure hotel. Food was over priced at the hotel.”

• Good choice near airport. Definitely Marriott quality as opposed to Motel 6.
• Buffet breakfast a bit under Marriott quality

“If you need to stay near LGA, this is a good choice. It is convenient, close, has a good shuttle to and from airport, and just about any of the usual services expected of the low range Marriott's.”

• Courteous, welcoming and attentive staff.
• Sauna and Jacuzzi don't seem to be well maintained.

“Very easy to find. The staff is welcoming and very attentive. Rooms are cozy and well kept. The hotel also offered other perks to make the stay refreshing (free cookies, movies and popcorn)”

• The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
• The menu was very limited. Breakfast was far too expensive.

“My daughter and I stayed at this hotel during a brief trip to New York City. We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The hotel recommended a safe, dependable car service to take us to our destination in the city and to bring us back if needed, which was a God send in that we had a hard time finding a taxi to bring us back to the hotel. My daughter is a vegetarian and could not find anything on the menu that catered to her taste. The hotel chef prepared a vegetarian dish for her, which we were very impressed with. We would definately stay again.”

• The roof did not leak on us.
• Nothing.

“Out of the way. The only available transportation was "gypsy cabs" (not Yellow cabs), that were awaiting each opportunity to rip you off. Appearance was drab and dirty and the staff was very unhelpful and unfriendly.”

• I would have liked a refrigerator in the room

“The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. The shuttle service runs 24 hours a day and there is a free coffee/hot chocolate area in the lobby. The Jacuzzi is in the work out room and was very nice.”

“The hotel was basic for a Courtyard. The bathroom was quite small, but acceptable. The beds were comfortable with good pillows. The nicest part was the shuttle to the airport for a very early flight.”

“The hotel was fine. Exactly what I expected, nothing more, nothing less. Clean attractive lobby. Only surprises were a $13 per night parking fee, and finding a dental retainer in the sofabed.”

“Hotel was not as clean as I expected. We got only two (king) beds for 4 people despite the fact that I indicated upfront how many people were staying. Walls were too thin and we could hear the TV and conversations from other guests all the time. The hotel maids did not do a good job in cleaning the rooms. On a better note, the restaurant was nice and the hotel staff was nice too.”

“I flew to NY for the open tennis, catching cabs is a pain and expensive, Courtyard by Marriott provided transport to and from for next to nothing. The hotel was great but the shuttle service was excellent.”

“Good hotel with customer-friendly staff. Better than other comparable hotels at LGA - Clarion, Ramada and Wyndham (except Clarion has free breakfast, which is about $15 at Courtyard and Wyndham.)”
