“I did not like this hotel. They say they offer a free shuttle, but on of the days it wasnt even running. Also the pool was out of order our entire stay. I would not ever stay here again.”

“For the price, couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Room was comfortable (had a mild cigarette odor). Common areas are open and beautiful. Location was great, right next to LaGuardia but not so close as to be noisy. Overall, an excellent stay.”

- Room temp was a bit hard to control.
“I would encourage you to have your proof of purchase documents when you check in. The hotel did not have record of my reservation however, with the proper documents they were able to track it down.”

- Room was not equipped with a bathtub, shower only.
“The hotel was very good, clean and overall very comfortable. My only complaint, which I did not take up with the management, was a group of noisy teenage girls on an athletic team of some sort who were extremely noisy and inconsiderate of other guests at 1:00 AM. I did ask the girls to be quiet, please, and they finally quieted down about 20 minutes later.”

- Good location, close to LaGuardia Airport.
“The room was reasonably comfortable.The bar staff was awfully inattentive and rude. I waited 10 minutes without anyone saying hello, and then left when nearly every table was unoccupied and covered with the used bottles and plates from previous guests. I saw no wait staff in nearly 20 minutes. Room service was attentive, on time and a good value.”

“Ideal for what I needed but I would have been even happier if they had found my cell phone charger after I had phoned the next day to inform them that it had been left behind. They did call back but unfortunately they hadn't found it. Otherwise very good overall rating.”

- This is our 3rd stay at the hotel. It has always been comfortable.
- The Bell Man had a side agreement with the driver to the airport.

- The lobby and facade was impressive.
- The room was not impressive. There were leak stains on the ceiling, The rooms were not sound proofed,.
“Noise in adjoining rooms was definitely a problem. The room they gave us was not ready and they had to switch us. They put several of our group in smoking rooms and said that was our only option even though we are not smokers and the rooms stank of smoke. There were leak stains on the ceiling. One of the room's phones had so much static it was difficult to use. There was no fridge in the room. The lobby seemed to be a fancy facade to cover up the fact that the condition of the rooms were below par for 3-3.5 stars. Parking cost $13 a day! I would not stay here again. Too much money for what you get. You also had to pay for time on their lobby computer plus an additional charge for internet time. The wireless connection was poor in all three of our rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly especially the guy who arranged the shuttle for guests. And the wait staff in the lobby bar.”

- Parking facilities not complimentary.
“The hotel lobby is prone to rowdy guests who give a wrong impression of the facility. The general facilities need some maintenance, specially the parking lot. The rooms are nice and well maintained; staff is courteous and eager to help. Dining is pricy but competitive, could add some lower priced options to make more attractive for dine-ins. Very close to nice neighborhoods for shopping, dining etc.”

- Shuttle service to and from Subway/airport.
- Everything is old.
“Overall OK stay. First night there was no hot water and they were painting the walls on our floor. Other than that shuttle service is priceless taking you to and from Subway, all in all about 1 hour including shuttle and Subway to Times Square couldn't ask for better. At first we were actually surprised this was our hotel as it seemed very nice at night, but it's old and they're busy upgrading it (I think). If you need decent place to stay with excellent on the hour shuttle service, stay here.”

- I like that the staff was friendly and helpful.
- I was in a non-smoking room that was overcome with cigarette smoke from another room. Perhaps it came in through the vent in the bathroom.
“The staff was very accommodating. When I found the room I was assigned on the second floor opened I was offered the Executive suite. It was less than I expected especially since in the morning, there was much noise from children and others early in the morning. Also, at about 10:00 AM, my room became filled with cigarette smoke from another room that either came from the room next door or the bathroom vent. Security came up and could not identify that the non-smoking room next door to mine had someone smoking. I was offered a room change for the hours remaining during my stay.”

“When I complained about the lack of very hot water and the water pressure of the hotel, they switched me to another room and sent a fruit basket with a bottle of wine and some cheese. They were extremely friendly and willing to accommodate all questions and concerns. I'd stay there again.”

The restaurant manager is never there to speak to and we are still trying to reach the manager to correct this matter. Overall, the hotel is adequate except the bed linens. - Facilities need an upgrade and a thorough cleaning.
“I arrived in the early morning off a long flight from Asia. I was received at the hotel reception with the utmost courtesy and shown to my room with no restrictions on check in time. I suppose, airport hotels are used to receiving weary travelers at all times of the day. The room was standard and definitely needed refreshing, particularly the bathroom. The air circulation grills were quite dirty and need a definite cleaning.”

- Poor attitudes by staff, rooms not cleaned on regular basis.
“This hotel was a disappointment. We didn't get a room that would work for two single friends who wanted there own bed. It took 2 days to move us, had to baby sit them to make sure we got another room. Staff was not helpful in providing information about the area. Rooms weren't cleaned everyday. Breakfast was poor and overly priced, toast was plain bread and they didn't follow what was written down. Wouldn't recommend staying here.”

“This hotel is very close to LaGuardia Airport The hotel will pick you up and drop you off at the airport in their shuttle. It has a definite business climate. You can get to Manhattan easily from this hotel by taking the Q23 bus to the 7 train and then the 7 train to Manhattan Easy as pie! The whole trip takes about 40 minutes.”

- Facilities and room were very nice.
- Although bus lines ran in front of the hotel that would take you to the subway, they could have run their own shuttle more often to the subway.
“Very nice facilities and room. The hotel staff initially gave me a room that already had another guess in it but they made up for their mistake by upgrading me to a suite.”

“This hotel was a typical airport chain hotel; it was convenient, well maintained, but had little ambiance. It was what I expected so there were no unpleasant surprises.”

- Loved the king size bed!

- It was close to the airport.
- Old and not updated.
“The staff was not friendly at all. When I asked about the shuttle to the airport I was told all I had to do was call the front desk and the shuttle would come quickly but when we arrived at the front desk, I was told the shuttle only leaves to the airport every 20 minutes and I almost missed my flight. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. The comforter was not very soft or comfortable. The Crowne Plaza name did not meet my expectations and the star rating did not meet my expectations either. It seemed to be more of a two star hotel.”
