• Very clean.
• A little difficult to find from the map given at the airport.

“The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety (apples, cereal, yogurt, bagels, English muffins, French toast, waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, coffee, tea, juice).”

• Loved the whirlpool suite.
• Wish there were no kids allowed!

“This hotel was magnificent! Rooms were huge. Small kitchen area (fridge, microwave, cupboards, sink, coffee maker), living room with flat screen TV with couch, coffee table, end tables. French doors lead into the bedroom, which was huge. Large king bed, beautiful in-room whirlpool and large flat screen TV and separate beautiful bathroom. The hot tub in the room was awesome. Very large, clean and pretty. Marble design, mirrors were all around, light and vent above. More than enough room for 2 people. Room was also very clean - new shower curtain was included! We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub - open for adults until midnight! Free full breakfast, although we did not get up in time to indulge. This made for a great anniversary night! We live in the area and will definitely go back for another special occasion. I have been to many hotels in the area, and this one is the best so far. The clerk was very friendly. You must check this room out for the romantic weekend.”

• Fresh supplies of good complimentary cookies in reception.
• Room not ready for occupation following flood. No mirror, no coffee maker, footprints in bathroom! One phone not working.

“Why does breakfast finish so early? Why does the breakfast staff start clearing away the food while people are still in a line to make their waffles and dish out their eggs? Why did only one of the two telephones in the room work? On the plus side, the reception staff was very nice & helpful with directions, etc., and the hotel lobby had a never ending supply of fresh beautiful cookies.”

• There was some problem in the room with ants, they changed us at once.
• Swimming area and around too noisy, especially on weekends.

“Night time counter persons were good but the day time needs to smile and be courteous. It looked like that they were angry all the time.”

• I booked this hotel at 10:00am the same day as check in and they didn't have our reservation.

“I would highly recommend this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful; the front desk staff was so friendly. The room was very clean and up kept. It exceeded my expectations.”

• Near airport, priced right, good breakfast.
• Weight room very warm, not conducive to exercise.

“Looking for an airport near hotel--this one was perfect with lots of restaurants nearby. Good breakfast with fruit, granola, eggs, etc. Only negative was an extremely warm (next to pool) exercise room.”

“This hotel was a great surprise. The staff was very accommodating and we got a great room right off the elevator. It was very clean, smelled new. It was spacious and well decorated. I also thought the morning breakfast was great.”

• Nice pool and spa area, great room décor.
• Traffic noise from the very busy street.

“Very nicely decorated and with a great pool, spa, and exercise area, this hotel also serves a nice continental breakfast. The friendly and helpful staff is a real asset, and convenient freeway access helps to offset the rather obscure location. Light sleepers or those trying to concentrate on work could be bothered by the constant rumble of trucks on 13th street.”

• Easy to get to from the Freeway.
• No courtesy van to the Lake front festivals.

“Check is was fast, the room said to be no smoking but smell a lot of smoke. A nice breakfast was available in the morning. Rooms were clean except for the smoke smell. Asked for a King size bed but were told at this price it was not available.”

• The staff was friendly and it met my expectations.
• It was far from a luxury hotel, but was just fine for what we needed. I wouldn't say that it had a romantic ambiance to it though.

“This hotel was convenient for airport travelers and was in great repair. I would recommend it for business travelers or those with a layover. Don't expect it to be an ideal location for a romantic getaway though, it is an airport hotel and although the staff was great, it definitely appeals to the airport market!”

• Helpful staff - found a cork screw for us, indoor pool, free transportation to airport!
• No voucher offered for the van to transport us from the train station to the hotel.

“I would highly recommend this hotel as it offered much more than what I would have expected including: quiet surroundings, convenient to a good restaurant (branded steer) and the airport, very friendly and helpful staff, a large clean indoor pool, light breakfast offerings and not a bunch of kids running around. My husband and I were very pleased with the selection that you made for us as I would not have considered this particular hotel since I was unfamiliar with it but I am certainly glad you did!”

• It was convenient for us and affordable.
• We had to stay in a smoking room and they would not change it.

“I had requested a non-smoking room because we both have a severe dislike of smoking. I have asthma and can not be around the smoke. Because we had no choice but to stay in the smoking room, it adversely affected my health. The front desk claimed that we did not mark non-smoking, however, we are seasoned travelers and ALWAYS go NON-SMOKING.”

• Check-in was quick. Check out was quicker. Proximity to McDonald's was an added plus for my family.
• Were not able to get a non-smoking room.

• Furniture was in disrepair--large section of trim broken off from TV credenza.

“Overall, very nice. Good location, nice facilities (pool, exercise room, Internet access). Breakfast and cookies/fruit are a welcome touch. Easy to get to and near things. Overall, a good place to stay. Rooms need to be reviewed as it seemed that furniture was in disrepair.”

“I liked how they left a card to attach to the door to let the cleaning staff know what we wanted done in our room the next day. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I think Milwaukee is just a friendly city to visit. I appreciated the coffee in the breakfast room 24 hours a day. Before bed I would go down to the spa for a few minutes to relax, and get myself a De-Café with French vanilla. It really made me feel pampered. Everything was spotless. No fingerprints on outside doors, etc.”

• The breakfast that was free. Hotel staff was very helpful in giving directions to Miller Park.
• Waffle machine not working very good, other than that everything was perfect!
