• Convenient to our purpose (visiting family in the area).
• In all honesty, there was nothing we disliked.

“Hotel staff met our needs (and our requests) to the utmost degree, We will recommend the hotel AND we will purpose to stay there again when we travel in that direction. The hotel provided a great breakfast menu.”

• My first Holiday Inn experience since I was a child. I was very pleased.
• The experience and facility really did meet every expectation, and with breakfast included, what could be bad?

“As a parent visiting my child in a nearby summer camp I needed a place to sleep. The pleasantness of the experience far exceeded any expectations, truthfully. Rooms were spotless, towels and linens were perfectly white and soft. The bed and pillowing were generous and the staff offered a brand of courtesy I've only seen in Kansas City! In every way, the hotel offered everything that would come with an excellent business hotel in a major city, if not more. I would return.”

• This hotel has excellent artwork - there are actual signed framed prints - real art is refreshing in hotels.
• This was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in.

“This hotel is conveniently located, has friendly staff and excellent artwork. The rooms are attractive, but the bed I had was terribly uncomfortable. Everything else about the hotel was great.”

• Well priced and location satisfactory for skiing different mountains.
• Room bathroom could have been cleaner; rear entrance is littered with thousands of cigarette butts.

• Great location for Okemo Mountain. Quiet and friendly.

“Family friendly with a pool. Breakfast buffet if you liked. Work out room and comfortable accommodations. Many truckers liked to stay there too.”

• The friendly front desk employee at check in.
• The small bed and the free breakfast was not as advertised. No "special" cinn buns and most food gone by 7:20 am.

“Friendly check in staff, clean room, with a microwave, refrigerator. Small beds that were not the most comfortable. A half hour drive to the skiing at Okemo.”

“In the shower, there was a wash cloth hanging from the shower head, from the previous occupant of the room. If they missed that in cleaning the place, what else did they miss?”

• Big room, comfortable bedding, microwave, refrigerator.
• No elevator, Narrow hidden stair to second floor rooms.

“Comfortable, clean, efficient, fine breakfast though not made fresh (food service shaped eggs, French toast). Pool area good, perfect for our family with two kids, when the trip focus was skiing. Hotel not a destination in itself.”

• Close to Ski attraction but information not readily available.

“The hotel is approximately one hour away from Killington. There is a mountain (better than Killington in my opinion) approximately 20 minutes away called Okemos. I highly recommend this mountain for snowboarding or skiing.”

• Nice clean new room and delicious breakfast.
• Middle of no where.

“A very nice, brand new looking hotel, with staff that were very helpful and courteous. This place has an awesome breakfast too. Most of these types of hotels just have the plain old continental breakfast, but this place had a great selection of the basics plus croissants, bacon, sausage, and a delicious cheese omelets yum. The only thing really bad about this place is that it's really in the middle of no where. It sits just off of I 91, which makes it ideal as a easy stop over if youre traveling or if rates are too high in white river junction this isn't that far of a drive.”

• Perfect location for skiing Okemos, only 30 minutes away.
• Didn't offer the hospitality late afternoon snack every day, offered only Tuesday.

“Too many pillows. Very comfortable bedding and quite clean. Met/exceeded expectations. Kids liked pool to play in. Sufficiently convenient to Okemos Mountain for skiing/snowboarding. ”

• Excellent price and service. Very nice complementary breakfast.
• No hot tub.

“Staff was excellent! No problem getting a first floor room with two queen beds. Very nice dining area with fireplace and flat-panel TV. Pool was excellent, nice and warm (~87 deg f). There was a fireplace in the pool area but looks like it's not used. A hot tub would complete things for those returning from a day of skiing.”

• Small towels in pool. Everything else was great.

“The hotel is right off route 91 which makes it convenient for business travelers, yet right in the heart of ski country. Next time! The staff was great. When the hairdryer did not work at 10:30 at night, the manager came back with a new one.”

• The pool was warm.
• Everything else.

“The place was difficult to navigate, there was a discrepancy in our reservation dates, the staff acted like it was our fault. We were kept waiting for over 45 minutes while they figured something out. Then our ""non-smoking room"" smelled like smoke, the floors were dirty, and I found a beer bottle under our bed. New batteries were never brought for our remote when we asked for them. The floor in the bathroom had dust bunnies and there were large stains on the carpet in the room. They were very overpriced because they were the only commercial hotel in town. No where near any restaurants or amenities, right off a noisy highway. I felt tolerated by the staff, certainly not welcome. I do not recommend staying here. Your money would be better spent at one of the lovely bed and breakfasts in the area (which we had to relocate to when thy could not honor the last three days of our vacation reservations.)”

• Breakfast bar had a good selection and a real "continental" breakfast. Good towels.
• Small rooms or beds, stains on bathroom tub. Impersonal service.

“Adequate for a quick stay or a backup if your normal Vermont inn is full. They have a pretty good breakfast (best thing about the hotel) and family friendly. They have a game room and a pool which will keep kids occupied. Just bring earplugs if you like to sleep late as the walls or doors are thin and you will hear everything in the hallways.”

• Great variety in the continental breakfast spread, amenities, gym, pool, fridge in room, a nice plus.
• Rooms were small and no hot tub. I love hot tubs.

“The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were easy to make really dark so great for sleeping. It was very conveniently located off the highway but not within walking distance of anything in Springfield. For my purposes, however, it was perfect.”

• My kids enjoyed the heated indoor pool.
• Service left much to be desired.

“From the moment I called to request two beds in my room, only to be told that such a request was unable to be filled due to alleged unavailability (flatly contradicted by the Holiday Inn website as well as central reservations), then being told that a double would cost me. To add an insult to injury, although I had asked for a roll away bed from the manager, the day before we checked in and arrived at about 3:30PM to do so, I was told with a smirk that none were available. As a result, the four of us had to share a king sized bed for the night! This hotel, though otherwise clean and nice, was the sole exception. Consequently, I am much less likely to chose Holiday Inns for my future travel.”

“Right off the thruway, easy to find, very small town, but cute. Close to Killington and other ski areas. Kind of funny to drink the wine we brought out of plastic Holiday Inn cups.”

• The receptionist was extremely helpful. The amenities were perfect. The room and complimentary breakfast were great.
• The road access was a bit difficult.

• Quiet, cozy, efficient, very friendly.
• Construction was a little inconvenient.

“The hotel was great for a family with children. The arcade and pool kept everyone entertained, while the business features, internet, were good for working parents checking in. The lobby was inviting and warm. The only issue was dining. If we were present during meal times, other than breakfast, we had to leave the hotel to find something to eat. With two children under two, that was difficult. It would have been much easier if there was onsite dining.”

• great design of rooms

“Holiday inn express has been redesigned and the rooms are great. Very well put togteher for business travel. Rooms had everything I needed Internet acccess, comfortable cahir and desk, good bathroom, nice pool. I travel for work a lot and this is thre bbest hotel for the money I have stayed in all year.”
