“It was great, they had the Select Comfort Beds but having never slept on one, you need more than a night to figure out your sleep number so I did not sleep.”

“I stayed one night here; booked by internet we were informed none too politely that the suite we booked was not available so had to have a single room. The room was adequate; the sleep number beds sagged in the middle when made softer and were nowhere near as comfortable as my latex mattress at home. The hallways were dirty and dusty (renovations were taking place) and there was a vagrant wandering around who eventually took up part of the floor in the hallway. The worst thing about this hotel was the attitude of the front desk staff; I hardly think that yes is a suitable greeting for guests and no - one came to help two mature ladies with a huge pile of luggage so we ended up finding a trolley ourselves and pushing it up and down the ramps at the front. The older woman at the front desk was dressed so unsuitably I thought we might have dropped into a casino by mistake! The one friendly soul at the hotel was the shutle driver who was nice and very efficient and helpful.”

• Room smelled bad, like left over body odor for first night.

“Adequate with some nice amenities. Good coffee available for purchase, though free coffee in room. Noise level (at airport) disturbing - sound reduction not that great. Room was pleasing in appearance and had all basics covered - fridge, hair dryer, etc. Staff was quite variable - some very nice, others incompetent.”

• Great staff, bed, very quiet even though near airport.
• Could have larger bathroom but overall very pleased.

“Shower and bed were great, staff very helpful. The only glitch was I seemed to be charged twice for my lunch. I am sure they will rectify that. Great value for the money.”

• The fitness room and pool were too
  small. I did not even use them.

“Easy commute into Salt Lake City. Nice Pizzeria, diner and bar across the street. The refrigerator in the room was very useful. Hooking up to the wireless internet was simple.”

• Wonder housekeeping staff and anemities.
• Pool and rooms were a little outdated.

“We didn't have very good service at check-in, but the housekeeping staff and front desk staff after that were amazing. The hotel was a little outdated, but was kept up very well and we enjoyed all of it.”

• The hostess was nice; we checked in early, room was great, room service excellent, friendly staff.
• Keys didn't always, one elevator didn't work, renovations.

“The staff was friendly, but the hotel was under renovations, which we were not informed of prior to checking in. This was a little disappointing.”

• Location, in relation to airport and main routes to downtown SLC.
• One of few hotel properties we know of with no complimentary breakfast.

“Attractive exterior, conveniently located to reach the SLC airport and/or an easy drive downtown. Our pleasant room was reasonably large with small fridge and outstanding select-a-firmness bed. As is true with too many hotels, lighting left much to be desired for shaving or make-up needs. Long-term off airport parking lot is just across the street, although hotel also offers shuttle.”

• The Sleep number beds are actually uncomfortable and the front desk staff could have been much friendlier/ more helpful. Hard to get luggage to room.

“For hotel accommodations that are both close to the airport and downtown attractions, this hotel fits the bill. The rooms are large and clean, though the sleep number beds leave a lot to be desired for comfort. Hotel front desk staff was not on par with a resort boasting this star rating either. There were no smiles or friendliness. We had to take the luggage ourselves from the parking lot, up the front set of stairs, across the front lobby to the elevator and up to the rooms. No direction was given as to room location or the location of amenities such as the weight room or pool. I was grateful for the large room size and cleanliness, but given the other drawbacks, I would not stay in this hotel again.”

• It was very close to the airport and since we arrived at night, this made it easier for us to find it since being in a strange area.
• The only thing I can say is that the hotel seemed a bit dark and dreary in hallways. But it was an older establishment.

“Since we had never driven in Salt Lake City before and arrived at night, this was an easy to find hotel. It was also very comfortable and the staff was most accommodating.”

• Lobby elevator smelled like diesel fumes.

“Sleep number beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Check-in/check-out process was quick and simple. Hotel is in a great location next to airport and is just a short drive to downtown. Hotel was clean and room was spacious. Would recommend to anyone.”

• Air conditioner did not work/nor sleep number bed.

“Good location near town and the airport. Room was nicely decorated/ lobby and restaurant beautiful. Water was actually hot for a shower or bath. The air-conditioning in the room did not work, had to sleep with windows open to traffic noise. One of the sleep number beds did not work. Other than these glitches-it was ok/not a 3-star.”

• Room were clean.
• We were not told the air conditioning was not working when we checked in and it was a very uncomfortable, hot, sleepless night.

“The hotel was old but very clean and the sleep number beds very comfortable. It was a hot day in Salt Lake and the air-conditioning didn't work in our room. We could not open the windows because our room faced the freeway. When we told the staff, they just dismissed it and said the air-conditioning didn't work. Needless to say, we spent a very sleepiness, hot night at the Radisson and I would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone.”

• The ice machine was two floors up or down the smoking hall.

“This hotel offers sleep number beds, wireless service and a nice work desk. The rooms are very clean and spacious and ours even offered a bar area. The hotel is close to the airport & Downtown but not so close you have a lot of noise. The outside of the hotel is very unique. The hotel staff is very friendly & helpful, I had trouble finding the ice machine the cleaning lady spoke Spanish only but saw the ice bucket in my hand & walked me to the ice machine.”

“Hotel was great but I was shocked to be charged 10.99 for a breakfast buffet that was of poor quality. I have many free continental hotel buffet breakfasts that were far superior to that. It was quite a shock to me. Also it was nice to try out the sleep number bed so that I could learn that it is not for me. even though I adjusted the sleep number it felt like I was sleeping on a blow up mattress. The hotel was very nice, but I few things could be changed.”

• Hotel shuttle arrived at the airport quickly after being called.
• The hotel was extremely run down and is clearly a very old property. Beds are not comfortable.

“The hotel was more than adequate to accommodate our large party. We had a great time visiting together, and having the room to do it. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed having the staircase as a backdrop for pictures with my family. The staff was helpful and friendly in getting us what we needed and to the airport on time. Overall, it was a great experience!”

• I loved the select comfort bed. I have never slept so good in a hotel.
• Lack of amenities.

“This was a quick trip and the hotel met the purpose for me. I loved the sleep number bed. This was the highlight of the hotel. I slept better in it than I do my own bed. Would recommend this hotel for people without children.”

• I did not like that I couldn't leave my vehicle while flying out.

“The hotel was great, but I would have loved to leave my vehicle there while on my trip. I had to park it elsewhere, a bit of an inconvenience, but otherwise, it was great!”

• The hotel was very close to the airport.
• The air conditioner did not work properly.

“Overall the hotel was clean and was very close to the airport. However, while the temperature outside was mid 70's, the temperature inside my hotel room was high 80's and my air conditioner did not work properly. After having the maintenance come to my room, and basically telling me all the rooms were like that, and there was nothing he could do but open my window and put a box fan in it, I had to settle for that. The hotel is in front of a highway, so I had to sleep with a box fan propped in my open window listening to loud cars rushing by on the freeway. Other than that, everything was fine. Front desk staff was somewhat friendly, but the housekeepers and maintenance were the most helpful.”

• The room seemed clean and the hotel was nice.
• The concierge was useless. He couldn't do anything without help. Hot tub was lukewarm and no jets.

“Overall a good place to stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was fairly comfortable for a hotel bed. The hot tub wasn't hot and the jets weren't working. We enjoyed our stay.”

• It was close to the airport and very clean.
• I did not like the sleep number bed.

“This hotel was very nice and very close to the airport which was a plus since my plane left so early in the morning. The only drawback is that it was not too close to anything else. We had to drive a bit to go to dinner. Otherwise the hotel was great.”
