• Really nice roomy shower.
• Firm Bed, To Much Chlorine in pool, Loud Rooms.

“The Hotel wasn't that busy but they put everyone in the same area and the walls are thin, didn't sleep well you could hear people walking on top of you or in room next to you, it wasn't a great experience.”

• Very clean and comfortable, everything we needed was there, courteous staff and pleasant atmosphere.
• Very minor things that could be improved - there was not any bright lighting in the room making it difficult to put on make up.

• The facility was clean, attractive, and relatively spacious.
• There was a snowstorm and the walks & drive were not salted until 8:00 AM.

• The staff was extremely friendly & accommodating.
• The pool was nice, but not sure how often the whole pool area was cleaned. Dirty towels left from night before.

• Paper thin walls! Could hear snoring in the next room!

“This hotel met our needs for this one night stay. The breakfast was terrible, dry and chalky, but free so I can't complain much. The walls are paper thin. We were awaken by snoring in the next room in the early morning hours.”

“Well worth the price! Easy access to everything yet not placed right on the main roads. Very clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet in the morning, and a very nice pool and exercise area. Doesn't get much better than that!”

• Online description showed refrigerator & microwave in the room but they didn't have them.

• The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
• The walls were very thin.

“A nice enough hotel. Good enough for a quick stay; not a place Id want to be for more than a couple of days. The staff was great. The room was just ok. The bathroom tub kept filling up with water as I was taking a shower. There were definite signs of wear and use in the bathroom.”

• They did not have hot breakfast.

“Great hotel, would recommend it to anyone. The only draw back I find is during the week they cater to the business crowd and offer hot breakfast and such. I am a business traveler who travels on the weekend and would like the same treatment. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and courteous.”

• Very clean, easy to locate off highway. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast.
• There wasn't anything that we did not like about our stay.

“This hotel was an easy driving distance from Michigans adventure. The staff was very helpful. They were able to get us a smoke free room with 2 beds even though they didn't have it available on the day of our reservation. The breakfast was great to have free of charge. The showers were great and so was the coffee!”

• I really liked the fridge and microwave in room!
• The kids running up and down the halls till 3am, loud music from the room next to ours.

“Overall, it was enjoyable stay. I really liked having the fridge and microwave in the room. We stayed there for 3 nights; this allowed us to buy lunch meat and some simple dinners. This gave us the option to feel more like we were at home, not in a hotel room. We really had a problem with the kids running up and down the halls, and the loud music coming through the walls from the room next to ours.”

• Very comfortable room.
• They had assigned me to a smoking room and you could tell. Thankfully, they were accommodating in moving me to a nonsmoking room.

“This hotel had comfortable rooms, great view of the city, and a good location (although a bit hard to find). Great pool and Jacuzzi facilities. Helpful, friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• I was traveling with 2 other adults; we were given a room without 1 king bed; and smoking!

“Not great. My brother was able to check into my room, which was reserved only under my name. He wasn't even asked for identification. There was a dirty washcloth left in the bathroom. We were given 1 king bed for 3 adults. We were given a smoking room and we don't smoke. Continental breakfast was un-staffed. Hot water, ice water, orange and apple juices were all empty at the same time.”

• The hallways and floor boards were under repair and messy.

“The fire alarms went off early Saturday morning 3 different times. The elevators malfunctioned, Breakfast was average, and the toaster was week it took upwards of 5 minutes to toast French toast.”

• Far from main street, no curtains, lots of light in room, thin material that was supposed to block light but did not.

“Plan on thinking you are lost to find this trip, once on the main road the side street is not marked well, then you must take a side street quite a ways before seeing the hotel, when I talked to staff about this she stated that someone earlier had called and been lost for an hour.”

• Looked as it may be going thru a remodel, should have posted signs.

“Great staff, great cont. Breakfast, our first night it was quiet, second night was a little more busy/noisy - there was a larger group staying there that didn't know how to watch their children. Pool/spa was great and clean - kids had a great time. There were a few areas that appeared to be under remodel, would have been nice to see a sign that stated they were remodeling/ upgrading; at first we thought maybe there was water damage. We would defiantly stay there again.”

• The hotel was attractive and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was convenient.
• The room was a bit noisy. When a neighbor was using the washroom, we could hear the water rushing through the pipes. A bit noisy.

“Overall, it was a very good room at a great price. Water noises from neighboring rooms was a bit of an issue. The breakfast was nice and convenient. Having the news on in the dining area during breakfast was great, it helped us stay in touch with news events as we traveled.”

• Most helpful and friendly front desk staff!
• Non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke due to poor ventilation system.

“You couldn't ask for better front desk staff. Friendly and accommodating Only issue was with non-smoking rooms, as they smelled heavily of smoke. The problem appeared to be a result of the venting system. The odors were coming from the bathroom vent.”

• Easy access from highway. Shopping and dining nearby.
• The parking lot.

“Very nice hotel. Lobby and breakfast area were very lovely. Continental Breakfast was served from 7 to 11, longer than most, and there were many items to choose from. The location was very convenient, right off the expressway and close to many shopping and dining options. Our room was very clean & comfortable, on the lower level near the pool. We did not have a view, but we did not care about that at all.”

“The hotel was clean, modern and staff friendly. I did experience a problem on the second night of my stay. The guests in the room above mine decided to do gymnastics continuously throughout the night (literally) and made it virtually impossible to sleep. The night staff also heard the noise, but were unable to "pinpoint" where it was coming from, so it continued until 5:30 am. Since I had to get up at 6:30am, you can imagine my mood after a night of that. I did fill out a guest questionaire, but I am having a hard time understanding why the problem couldn't have been dealt with in a more logical way.”

“The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast bar a welcome bonus! My only complaint would be that upon check in we were put in a room that was smaller than average. It also had a fan running rather loudly in the ceiling. We contacted the front desk and they moved us right away. We wouldn't have asked to be moved because of the size of the room, but the fan would have kept up awake. All in all we would definitely stay at this hotel again.”
