“Immaculate hotel. My stay was extremely awesome. This hotel has everything you need all packaged so nicely. My room was large and accommodating with a king size bed and everything was very clean. I had a perfect sized desk to attend to my studying. The room is equipped with a coffee maker. I didn't even need it because they were serving free gourmet coffee round the clock in the lounge adjacent to the Lobby. I took time for a workout in the fitness room and then for a dip in the pool with some extra relaxation time in the hot tub. The elevator goes right to the fitness/spa area so you barely have to even leave your room. Continental breakfast best of all, everything felt effortless. I wished I had more time to stay and enjoy myself.”

• The were most helpful considering we had bikes we wanted in our room.
• Hard to find.

• The room was super clean and fresh.
• Disposable coffee cups won't fly in our new green era.

“Everything about this hotel was pretty great, except the location in a sprawl suburban wasteland. There are some things to do sort of nearby, but not within walking distance. Also the breakfast buffet was just average. The coffee was weak and like all of these sorts of buffets, it is difficult or impossible to make healthy choices about what to eat.”

• I loved the fact that they had an outdoor space for my children to play.
• We did not have a refrigerator in our room.

“The staff was wonderful they treated my children like they were people and not little monsters (even if they were at times). The room was nice and overall quiet we only heard the neighbors TV once and being on the bottom floor I expected to hear noise from the room above me but we did not.”

• A bit noisy on weekend nights.

“I was even upgraded so my room included a Jacuzzi bath. very nice. The location is excellent, near the freeway, very close to a major shopping center with numerous chain restaurants. Only ten minute drive to Downtown Grand Rapids.”

• The spaciousness of the room. The breakfast was very nice and the dining staff was attentive to the consumers needs.
• Finding parking was difficult with the snow.

“The hotel was centrally located in the northern part of Grand Rapids and easy to locate. I was able to check in with ease. The room was clean and orderly. The pool area was relaxing and the water temperature was perfect. The staff was friendly.”

• Firm Bed, To Much Chlorine in pool, Loud Rooms.

“The Hotel wasn't that busy but they put everyone in the same area and the walls are thin, didn't sleep well you could hear people walking on top of you or in room next to you, it wasn't a great experience.”

• Very minor things that could be improved - there was not any bright lighting in the room making it difficult to put on make up.

• The pool was nice, but not sure how often the whole pool area was cleaned. Dirty towels left from night before.

“A nice enough hotel. Good enough for a quick stay; not a place Id want to be for more than a couple of days. The staff was great. The room was just ok. The bathroom tub kept filling up with water as I was taking a shower. There were definite signs of wear and use in the bathroom.”

“Great hotel, would recommend it to anyone. The only draw back I find is during the week they cater to the business crowd and offer hot breakfast and such. I am a business traveler who travels on the weekend and would like the same treatment. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and courteous.”

• There wasn't anything that we did not like about our stay.

“This hotel was an easy driving distance from Michigans adventure. The staff was very helpful. They were able to get us a smoke free room with 2 beds even though they didn't have it available on the day of our reservation. The breakfast was great to have free of charge. The showers were great and so was the coffee!”

• I really liked the fridge and microwave in room!
• The kids running up and down the halls till 3am, loud music from the room next to ours.

“Overall, it was enjoyable stay. I really liked having the fridge and microwave in the room. We stayed there for 3 nights; this allowed us to buy lunch meat and some simple dinners. This gave us the option to feel more like we were at home, not in a hotel room. We really had a problem with the kids running up and down the halls, and the loud music coming through the walls from the room next to ours.”

• They had assigned me to a smoking room and you could tell. Thankfully, they were accommodating in moving me to a nonsmoking room.

• The bed was very comfortable.
• I was traveling with 2 other adults; we were given a room without 1 king bed; and smoking!

“Not great. My brother was able to check into my room, which was reserved only under my name. He wasn't even asked for identification. There was a dirty washcloth left in the bathroom. We were given 1 king bed for 3 adults. We were given a smoking room and we don't smoke. Continental breakfast was un-staffed. Hot water, ice water, orange and apple juices were all empty at the same time.”

“Plan on thinking you are lost to find this trip, once on the main road the side street is not marked well, then you must take a side street quite a ways before seeing the hotel, when I talked to staff about this she stated that someone earlier had called and been lost for an hour.”

• Looked as it may be going thru a remodel, should have posted signs.

“Great staff, great cont. Breakfast, our first night it was quiet, second night was a little more busy/noisy - there was a larger group staying there that didn't know how to watch their children. Pool/spa was great and clean - kids had a great time. There were a few areas that appeared to be under remodel, would have been nice to see a sign that stated they were remodeling/ upgrading; at first we thought maybe there was water damage. We would defiantly stay there again.”
