“Excellent accommodations for the cost. Staff was friendly and professional, attended to all needs. Needs to offer complimentary internet access.” Sep 15, 2009 by
Sarah from Houston,TX
“Friendly staff, comfortable, clean and an overall good experience.” Aug 31, 2009 by
Simon from Sainte-Petronille,Canada
“Really nice place, feels great and relaxing. Two big pools and a place for the kids. A good business center with free internet. It was really a good time. About 15 minutes of car from downtown.” Aug 28, 2009 by
Hugh from Amarillo,TX
“I absolutely will stay here again if for no other reason that the hotel's proximity to Sea World. The staff was gracious and helpful, the hotel offered nightly Marshmallow roasting and S'more making with an outdoor kid's movie, which was great for our 3 year old daughter. If you are expecting to stay at a "Resort" resort, then book the Hyatt, as I've read, this place is nice, but "Resort" it is not.” Aug 26, 2009 by
Scott from Plano,TX
“The hotel was very nice, comfortable beds, clean rooms and public spaces. The food and pool were off and that makes a huge difference for a family that has a young child that loves to swim and order room service.” Aug 14, 2009 by
Gary from Clarion,PA
“We were in town for basic training graduation at Lackland AFB. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Valley Hi (Airman's) Gate. (It's less than five minutes from Seaworld.) The courtyard is beutifully landscaped, and the firepits and movies at night on wall of the hotel are great for families. There are three pools, including a small lap pool and a wading pool with water spouts in the wall between it and the main pool. The high speed Internet in the rooms is $10/day, but the business center has two fast computers with broadband and a color laser printer. The lobby has 54 g wireless. Our regular room was adequate if not spacious, and the bathroom was very roomy, especially the shower. We appreciated the HD TV. We did have to ask for a couple of items that ran out in the bathroom over our five day stay, the maids missed some crumbs on a night stand, the toilet clogged once, and a room service cart with leftovers was left in the hallway for several hours, even after we notified the front desk. The front desk was very cordial, and at one time delivered some requested items to our room within minutes. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would stay there again and recommend it to our friends.” Aug 13, 2009 by

“I came with my family this weekend and had a blast. The staff is so friendly and helpful.” Aug 3, 2009 by
Ali Prasla from Houston,TX
“Great hotel in regard to everything that it offers. However, the four star ratings is way too high for this hotel. It should qualify for 3 or less starts.” Jun 21, 2009 by
Carrie from Leander,TX
“Excellent location in relation to Sea World with a complimentary shuttle; loved the smores at night in the fire pits outside; nice pool areas and even a playground and basketball court.” Jun 15, 2009 by
Michelle from Bossier City,LA
“The hotel was nice but we made reservations for 4 and we received a (1) king size bed room with no couch. Customer service stated for 50.00 more a night we could get a double bed room. I use priceline all the time and have never encountered this problem. Most hotels will give you double bed upon request. We stayed for 4 nights and 1 morning they did not clean the room and one night the plumbing did not work. We had to call the front desk to have someone come and fix. They did not offer another room. Thank goodness we did not need to take a shower at that time and the toilet leaked. We called to check in early but that was not possible. Hope a family of 4 that is going to Sea World does not get this hotel.” Jun 1, 2009 by
Jennifer from Fort Worth,TX
“This hotel was great to come home to every night. The shuttle to and from Sea World was great and the drivers were very friendly. The pools were clean and well kept. The kids pool was an added bonus since we have a small child. Our favorite part of the hotel was the four fire pits that they lit every night. You can purchase a smores package at the front desk for $4 and roast marshmallows under the Texas stars. It was a great hotel!” May 26, 2009 by
Connie from Rosenberg,TX
“The staff in your lobby area on the the evening of Friday, 5/29/09, was great. A lady clerk assisted me with my questions as to getting a room for the next evening and advised me of the Happy Hour and the music would play until 10 pm. We had the best time in the lounge area while my daughter went swimming. The 2 women you had working in the bar area that night were not very friendly or quick to service my husband & I at all. That sort of bothered me but I wasn't going to allow it to dampen my mood. We made several trips to the bar and each time, they took their sweet time to assist us. Their demeanor and quick service towards the other patrons was definitely noted by myself and my friends that were with us.” May 21, 2009 by
Debora from Leola,AR “Very nice and would recommend to others.” May 4, 2009 by
Chad from Houston,TX
“I didn't need the spa or the resort, just a room.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Shelley from Needville,TX
“The hotel was wonderful. It was immaculately clean and provided superior service. There is an excellent pool area for small children separate from the larger pool, as well as a small playground. The public areas are scenic and easily accessible.” Apr 5, 2009 by
Crystal from Fredericksburg,TX
“I understand this hotel has recently changed hands and is undergoing remodeling. Small problems were light bulbs out in lamps, room service food didn't have ingredients as listed on menu, cheesecake had Mar 17, 2009 by
Roger from Eagle Pass,TX
“The hotel was clean and neat for the most part and I liked. The hotel did not provide any type of breakfast and the play area for kids was extremely small.” Mar 15, 2009 by
Monica from Santa Fe,TX
“It's in disrepair and very dirty. Terrible menu, no staff. Had to ask to have room cleaned after being gone all day. Pool/Hot Tub in need of resurfacing. No doorman. One lady for the bar/outdoor area. Just not quality. More Motel 8 with better furnishings.” Mar 5, 2009 by
Sasha from Harpers Ferry,WV
“I had a wonderful time at this hotel, while the first room I was shown to was very, very small. When I went down stairs and asked for a larger room, ( I was staying 6 nights) I was treated with respect and efficiency. I was given instantly and for a very nice cost. The tub and shower made me smile every time I used them, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job every day. Way to go, I will stay again if I ever have the chance.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Ayn from San Antonio,TX
“We had a very relaxing stay. The rooms were a bit smaller than anticipated. The pool are was locked up in the middle of the afternoon, but no signs were posted. The lobby bar had terrific food and the wait staff was pleasant.” Feb 16, 2009 by
Steve from Roland,IA
“The hotel was very quiet, but also very accomodating.” Oct 29, 2008 by

“Hotel is great, parents can relax and have a drink while kids are playing. They having lots of kid activities.” Oct 1, 2008 by
Mrs. Clarke
“This hotel would be good for a business traveler. I do not think the rooms was that attractive? The bathroom marble was nice; however there was not enough lighting in there. Also, the tub was not draining out; it took 30 minutes for it to drain. They had to call a engineer to look at the problem. I expected more from a hotel that consider them a Resort and Spa.

Marian from Frisco, TX
“Again not a resort level! Prices yes, facilities no! Unclean for 2 days, the same room service tray in the hallway. Rooms were falling apart. Our bathroom tub area leaked, wallpaper loose, dirt/dust around baseboards very evident. I was very disappointed. We were very blessed that the front desk allowed us different accommodations.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Tane from Bellingham, WA
“Easily accessible and the rooms were very clean, but a bit small. Not much for dining. Had to drive a ways for necessities (bottled water, etc). But a very pleasant stay. If you do not want to be around kids stay away as Sea World is the attraction near by.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Jerry from Garrison, TX
“Overall our family enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean and very close to our main destination, Sea World and within about 10 minutes to Fiesta Texas. The room was a little smaller than expected but good for the main purpose of sleeping. We really liked the smaller and more shallow pool for our 3 year old. Would stay here again.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Rose from Mcallen, TX
“The staff was pleasant and friendly. Nice grounds and public areas.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Mary from Katy, TX
“I think the hotel is great for families traveling to SeaWorld. However, I think they need to accommodate room sizes to meet travelers needs. Shuttle was excellent but 6 cars were broken in to overnight so I think they need hotel security on grounds monitoring the parking lot. I was disappointed there was no free coffee considering price of this hotel room.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Monique from Brownsville, TX
“Front desk clerk wasn't very helpful, but after our 3rd try we finally got a room with 2 beds and coupons for free smores.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Caroll from Mckinney, TX
“Great hotel if you are going to visit Sea World. I would recommend this hotel to families, as it is quite noisy with kids running up and down the hallways at all hours. Limited parking is available. Shuttle to Sea World is great. Common areas are beautiful and staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are small compared to other places I have stayed at and they are very plain.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Tami from Friendswood, TX
“We had a very nice stay. Our group was able to be on the same floor. The room was clean. We enjoyed all the activities available in the evenings. The Karaoke and live music was great and the activities for the kids really worked out well. The pizza was great too.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Rachel from Duncanville, TX
“Friendly staff. Good for families, not a honeymoon hotel. Not as classy as I was hoping for.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Sheri from Corpus Christi, TX
“Over all, liked the 2 1/2 star La Quinta better than this hotel. The restaurant was closed and the hot tub did not work. Otherwise, a great place and a cute little gift shop.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Penny from Houston, TX
“Would go back again no problem. Close enough to Sea World to make life easy for the Sea World tourist. Kind of out of the way for someone dealing with business in downtown San Antonio. But that was not my objective in the first place so all was well at this hotel.” Aug 27, 2008 by
Vicki from Laredo, TX
“The hotel is in a great location for Sea World vacationers. They cater to children (face painting, hair, nails, movies). Visited the spa was small but nice, my room could have used a little tlc from housekeeping, room was small for 2 adults 2 children and yes you could hear doors slamming.” Aug 27, 2008 by
Lynn from Wichita Falls, TX
“This was the best hotel we have stayed. It was very family friendly, the whole family enjoyed it. Accommodations were very nice. The nightly movies and smores were fun. They offered a happy hour that was really neat also. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Spring, TX
“Everything was excellent except the food.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Alison from Athens, TX
“Nice, family friendly hotel. Great activities for kids.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Jess M. from Abilene, TX
“Upon arrival things got off to a bad start when the desk staff tried to charge an extra $25 per night for the room because they said it was summer and they were a family friendly hotel which meant they were in high demand. The plaster in and around the pool area was all cracked and breaking off. The hot tub was not working and when I asked if it would be fixed soon, I was told that it had been broken for several weeks and probably wouldn't be fixed any time soon. The last time I stayed at this hotel it was very enjoyable, but this time not so much.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Greg from Rowlett, TX
“Great hotel close to sea world (1 mile), so great hotel if you have small children Pool is nice and making smores was fun.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Sam from Lawton, OK
“This resort is perfect for a trip to San Antonio. Located less than 5 minutes from Sea World and only a short drive (20 minutes) from the Riverwalk, it has the feel of a secluded resort without being miles from the action. Family movies are shown nightly in the courtyard, and smore kits can be purchased for $3 and used on the fire pits scattered throughout the courtyard. The three pools are perfect for a nightly swim after a long day at the park or sightseeing. Hotel staff is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. This was our second stay at the resort, and we'll definitely return.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Natalie from Dallas, TX
“This hotel was just what we needed. The room was small, but we managed. The pools were small, as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great kids activities with outside movies and smores at night. It would have been nice to give a little larger room with two beds, but what we had was ok.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Justin from Gonzales, TX
“Overall nice experience. We were looking for more of a romantic setting but this particular hotel is more family oriented because of it's proximity to Sea World. I would definitely stay again but would bring the kids.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Vivian from Katy, TX
“The room felt so filthy. The A/C vents in the room and the bathroom had molds and the tub wasn't so clean. I can see soap mold around the corners of the tub. The comforters were torn on the right side corner. It seemed like the down comforters weren't washed. It felt dirty and was itchy all night long from the comforters. I wouldn't recommend if you are a clean freak person like me. We had to check out early because it just felt so filthy inside the room.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Carlos from Corpus Christi, TX
“Enjoyed staying at this resort, everyone was very courteous and the room was great.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Roberto from Mexico City, TX
“It is a very good hotel, my kids enjoyed the pool and the marshmallows at night, the room have a normal size. I recommend this hotel, and if you are planning to go to sea world and six flags the location is fantastic.” Aug 9, 2008 by
Gary from Austin, TX
“The napkins looked and felt 10 years old. The bottom of the pool was dirty and the restaurant floor was dirty like a movie theater. My room did not have a sleep number bed. The management could make great improvements with little effort.” Aug 9, 2008 by
Gregory from Sugar Land, TX
“Overall the hotel was nice. It is listed as a resort but should not be. The pools were small, and while they tried to have little special things for the kids, that in itself doesn't make the hotel a resort. They said they couldn't guarantee. Well when we arrived they had us in these little rooms with king size beds. So then they brought in rollaway beds. With the beds in the room there was no room to use the desk or other chair. Basically the room was full. It made for a trying time with the kids. I've had much nicer rooms in a two star hotel. The only reason I gave it a three star rating is the lobby and deck were very nice. That didn't matter much to me as I was at Sea World all day.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Kim from Burton, TX
“Our recent stay was probably one of the better experiences that we've had in a long time. The room was comfortable and clean, the pools were nice. The whole family enjoyed the fire pits and smores as well as the movie. The activities kept us from being cooped up in our room. This was a great place to stay and celebrate the end of summer with our family. We will definitely come again!” Aug 7, 2008 by
Jacob from Arlington, TX
“Not what I expected being that it was classified as a resort. Very disappointing. The kids had a good time very kid friendly. Being so close to Sea World made the trip worth it. The shuttle was great but everything else was just OK.”
