• Breakfast buffet was nice. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly.
• My initial experience was negative.

“I really like this hotel and the atmosphere. My first impression started off negatively due to the fact that I requested a non smoking room and when I arrived to the hotel and received my room key, I entered a room that was obviously not smoke free. The hotel eventually made it good after I spoke with them for a brief period and explained that I could not stay in the room in it's present state. Other than this (or after this was over) everything was good.”

• Convenient, comfortable, well equipped with indoor pool, exercise room, internet access and easy parking.
• A few minor things like the TV remote didn't work, the room key-card took many swipes before the door would open, towels while thick, were quite rough.

“We enjoyed our stay here and will likely stay again. Location, amenities and comfort.”

• The lobby was beautiful.

• Indoor pool and breakfast area and food were great.
• We were next to laundry room-there were plenty of vacant rooms.

“Had a great time at indoor pool. Hotel was off main highway so not much noise. Liked the swings on porches.”

• The beds were comfy, the Jacuzzi help to relax after long drive, the facilities were clean, and who doesn't like a cookie at the front desk?.
• The room decor and colors were heavy and dark. Not very warm and inviting. Tile was cracked in places in bathroom.

“The hotel was clean and safe with the appropriate amenities. The staff was courteous. The pool and Jacuzzi are nice extras. Not the most updated interior, but you should stay downtown or in a fancy resort if you want that. It's a great option for travelers passing through or those who want to stay in Columbia. Good to those with some budgetary concerns.”

• I was given a smoking room and I am not a smoker!

“I will probably stay at this hotel in the future but I was definitely made sure I am not placed in a smoking room. If that is not possible then I will not stay there again.”

• Very nice, clean hotel. Good continental breakfast.
• The hot tub was pump to turn on the jets didn't work.

• I like the country setting and the decor. The beds are nice and the staff was friendly. We also liked the location.
• Needed a few more cable channels other than that, it was fine.

“We have stayed at other Country Inn and Suites and we have been happy with all of them so far. This was just as nice as the others. I would recommend this hotel to others. Thank you.”

• Rooms were large; micro/fridge was an unexpected plus.
• Check-out was a pain; employee had no clue what she was doing.

“The hotel was clean and spacious, the pool was nice, and my only complaints about the rooms are that they're ugly and the bathroom door could not be opened all the way because it hit the toilet! But everything was clean and well-kept. At check-out, the employee behind the desk had no clue what she was doing. What should have been a 2 minute process took 20 minutes.”

• Desk help was great - friendly - breakfast was nice.
• Not the cleanest - remote did not work right - TV hard to see.

“It was OK. We requested a 2-1/2 star and my daughter requested a 2 star - same town. Flat screen TV, etc.”

• Pricey for what we got. Then George strait concert was canceled due to flu. We still had to stay.

“Hotel was pricey. Have stayed in better for less money. The reason we went to Columbia was for a George strait concert that was cancelled due to the flu. Expensive overnight stay.”

• Clean, very, very clean and very friendly staff and many room amenities.
• Some furniture in the room way very scratched up and old.

“The hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was spotless and the linens were clean and the bed comfortable. Room amenities super, fridge, coffee, microwave, too. Very nice free breakfast. Bathroom beautiful and very clean. Could change out the TV armoire and some of the scratched furniture and worn out chair & ottoman.”
