• It had really good soap.
• No bells and whistles tub was broken.

“We got married on sat 26th, this was our wedding nite, very unhappy. Broken tiles in the bathroom and broken tub. No coffee maker view of parking garage. seperate beds
TV was so old remote was broken........people two doors down smoked pot the entire time we stayed, could smell everywhere very uncomfortable. Nothing was done about it”

• There was nothing I liked.
• The staff was unhelpful and rude and the rooms were dirty.

“The hotel is old and not very well kept up. The staff is extremely rude and very unhelpful. The rooms are somewhat dirty, we had no glasses in our room, the Internet didn't work, and the maid never made up our room. Pretty much nothing about this hotel was any good and I will never return or recommend it to anyone.”

• It was elegant! Friendly staff. Great location.
• Casino atmosphere (and that's probably the reason it was so plush)!

“This is a plush hotel. Beautiful crown molding in the room; marble floors, countertops, large round shower stall with round etched glass wall facing the bedroom. Simply beautiful. Nice thick towels, expensive toiletries. FAST elevators--never a long wait. For anyone visiting Tahoe, stay at this hotel if you get a chance! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.”

• In room hot tubs.
• Crowded, smokey, and noisy.

“It wasn't bad, but it was what I would expect from a small casino. Way too smokey, but large rooms and bathrooms.”

• Loved the lay out of the room.
• Could not find anything wrong.

“We were surprised with the large, spacious room. It totally exceeded our expectations of a hotel on priceline. We thought we'd get some room in the basement for the price we paid. We were on the 6th floor, over looking the golf course with a view of the mountains. It was beautiful.”

• The bartender was really nice and quick.
• The bathroom was really dirty, the couch had stains of some kind on it, the windows would not open and so much more.

“I will never stay here again nor would I recommend that anyone else stay here. The room was dirty and we had a fire alarm go off at 3am which was not the hotel's fault but it took them an entire minute to tell us was the beeping noise was and they did not give any directions to us.”

• Price was right but star level listed at 3.5 is not the case at all
• Basic old amenities in the room, very dated.

• This hotel has a hip vibe, fun casino, beautiful lake view and some great food!
• Nothing bad to say.

“This hotel is the most fun place to stay while up at Lake Tahoe. There are numerous activities and restaurants right at the hotel. They also have a spa and shops.”

• The room was huge and had a Jacuzzi tub.
• The lobby was filled with smoke from the casino.

“I thought the value was good. I had stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it was not nearly as nice as this.”

“This old girl has been ridden hard and hung up wet. Business in Tahoe is down and they should be doing more to keep folks coming back.”

• Good location / nice rooms.

“ I was given a choice of two rooms that were clean and available. One was a smoking King (I am not a smoker) or a clean double queen room. I took the later. I got to my room, to find out it was a handicapped equipped room. I decide it wasn't worth bitching about and settled in. I went to dinner at The Hard Rock Café down the block to get some souvenir T-shirts. I got back to The Resort and did some gaming. I never was asked if I wanted a drink while I was gaming.

• Very outdated rooms.

“The hotel is situated beautifully between the lake and the mountain. We had a great view of the mountain from our room so we could quickly see if the gondola and lifts were running. The lobby, casino, restaurants/bars and stores are all very nice. However, the rooms are terribly outdated.”

• Had a Starbucks and location.
• Very outdated rooms and old/thrashed furniture.

“This a decent place to stay. Public spaces are nice and updated, but rooms are outdated. The furniture is thrashed and carpets are stained. the mini fridge in the room looked like it had tumbled down the mountain and had a very foul odor.”

• Checking out.
• Dirty room, broken toliet seat. Never again.

“Right from the start it was all bad. It was about 10 minutes before we even saw anyone to valet our car. A $10 resort fee is automatic for use of their pool, bottled water and morning news paper. Keep them and give me back my $10. As soon as we walked in the room it was Dirty and the toilet seat was cracked and broken barely held together. Overall we will not stay there again.”

• Loved being on the top floor, jacuzzi was wonderful, rooms were more then what was expected. Excellent.

“It was absolutely wonderful. I had a great time, romantic getaway and gambling. Hotel employees were friendly. All restaurants were short staffed though.”

• The hotel was so comfortable, well laid out and extremely impressive! I loved the in room spa and the indoor pool was fantastic!
• I wish the clubs opened earlier than 10pm. I had to sit out in the casino and win some big money before dancing my heart out!

“We visited Montblue on our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier! We were quite surprised at the Jacuzzi in our room and the bathroom marble countertops were beautiful. The bed was extremely soft and plenty of pillows to sink into. I loved the casino downstairs, it was just big enough to not be overwhelming and everyone was extremely helpful in teaching me some of the games. We loved the indoor pool/hot tub! The waterfall was great to swim under and the atmosphere was amazing! I would love to go back. I will definitely have to visit again!”

• Dining options, proximity to heavenly slopes.
• Staff was friendly but not service oriented.

“Great location. Had to call housekeeping before I got into bed because the sheets hadn't been changed. Room could use a good scrubbing (furniture, curtains, etc). I'm okay with the somewhat dated looked but a room should be clean.”

“Charged $10 per day for paper and two bottles of water. Could not reject the service. Starbucks was $4 higher for same products that could be bought 3 blocks away. Appeared to want to gouge the customer.”

• Location.
• Older and run down. It was nice in its prime, but now needs a makeover.

“The hotel was decent. The rooms were in need of a makeover. I think gold crown molding is out of style now. The rooms were clean, but not clean enough to enjoy a bath in the roman tub.”
