• Great rooms, good variety of restaurants, excellent food.
• Closet was too small.

“I've stayed at many hotels in Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood was one of the best. It had everything - great rooms, attached shopping mall, and large variety of restaurants. Although it wasn't as luxurious as the Bellagio, for the money it was 4 star. Hotel was extremely clean, separate shower was great, and food excellent.”

• The stay was very relaxing and comfortable.
• The in house entertainment was very down scale. There wasn't a class act there.

“What is there to say, accommodations were excellent. The entertainment was very disappointed. We went to see Phantom of the Opera and The Jersey Boys. They were great!”

• They gave us a free upgrade to an amazing suite on the 51st floor.
• I didn't experience anything at this hotel that I did not like.

“The new planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, was definitely near the top of the list of nicest hotels I have stayed in. I travel quite a bit, but its not normally with this type of luxury. I would definitely recommend it, and would love to go back sometime soon.”

“Really clean, great staff and a really enjoyable experience all around. The pool was nice and the poolside DJ was fun but both pools were just too shallow and really crowded. Overall a nice all around hotel. Would definitely spend more time there!”

• I did not like the fact that smoking is allowed in the casino. It made the bottom floor stink.

• Amazing bathroom and great bed! Buffet was outstanding!
• No access from the parking lot to the hotel directly. You need to walk through the attached mall to get to the rooms. Free valet fills up quickly.

“This is an excellent hotel! There's a lot of competition on the strip and this one definitely delivers. The rooms are amazing - extremely comfortable bed, great decor and a huge bathroom! The parking is a little difficult, but if you park early you can use the free valet. Even if you don't stay here, try the buffet! It's one of the best ones I've had!”

• We were given a free upgrade to a suite by the check-in staff.
• The on site restaurants had less than great selections and super high prices.

“We were more than satisfied with our stay at Planet Hollywood. Our only regret is that we did not stay there for our entire vacation. The room was fantastic. The staff was more than helpful. Its location on the strip was great. The only negatives were the high prices in the on-site restaurants, early closing of the pool (8 pm) and business center (7 pm), it seemed like they didn't have all the elevators working (it took several minutes to wait on an elevator), the distance between the front entrance and the check-in entrance made it difficult for those using public transportation rather than shuttle or taxi, and the casino wasn't the easiest to navigate. Overall as a result of our experience, we would definitely stay there again.”

• Good location. Mall attached with good shopping.
• It took valet 40 minutes to 65 minutes to get my car each day. Self parking is too far from hotel.

“The hotel was new and clean. I waited in a line for 35 minutes when I checked in. Hotel staff was alright but not overly friendly. It took from 40 minutes to 65 minutes for the valet to get my car each day. I would never stay at this hotel nor recommend it to anyone based on the valet alone. Location is good and rooms were comfortable.”

• The relation of the parking structure to the hotel lobby was illogical and made it difficult to navigate.

“Great experience. The room was great. Only complaint is that we had an extremely difficult time finding the hotel lobby from the parking garage. It is so difficult that I am sure that it negatively influences travelers from returning to this hotel. It was 15 minute's walk from the hotel parking lot to the lobby which is not easily accessed from the garage. Otherwise, the staff and quality of the room was outstanding. A lot of value for the price!”

• The suite I was upgraded to was incredible.
• The valet parking was horrendous. I waited 30 minutes before someone got to me to park my car.

“This hotel is very nice. The rooms are fantastic. The staff, for the most part, are very nice. I went to the Strip House, their steakhouse, for dinner and the service was incredible and the food was delicious. Probably the best steak I've ever had and I've had my share of steaks. My only problem with the hotel was with valet parking. When I arrived, I had to wait 30 minutes before anyone came up to get my car. Then when someone did finally come, they couldn't care less. After observing the area, you could tell it was a disaster waiting to happen. I can understand limos and cabs coming to the front door of the hotel, but delivery trucks were also converging on the same location. Planet Hollywood really needs to restructure it's parking situation.”

“The hotel is located centrally, making it easy to visit other properties all within walking distances. The rooms are very tastefully done with move nostalgia throughout. Very clean and fresh. Entire staff was courteous and friendly. Just be patient when parking your car with valet.”

• The linens were good quality, good restaurants and mall was close.
• The valet and self parking are a night mare! The layout has too many levels, pool is on the 6th, casino and lobby on different floors.

“The hotel should be and could be so much better. The hotel staff all look like they hate their jobs! The valet staff walk instead of run, when the hotel is slow it take 30 minutes to get your car. Self parking you have to walk 7 football fields to get back to the hotel! The place is like a maze, just terrible, the elevators always have to stop at the pool, the 6th floor? The casino, lobby different floors. Between waiting for the elevator or my car. It is just such a pain. They should tear the place down and start over.”

• The rooms were not remodeled yet on the 7th floor, it was still the Aladdin.

• Fabulous mall, right in the middle of the strip, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Self Parking is extremely far from the rooms.

“I loved my stay at Planet Hollywood. The room was decorated with lots of Hollywood memorabilia which made it aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom was high quality with a separate shower and bathtub. The Miracle Mile shops are right there so there is always something to do. The location was right in the middle of the strip. Self parking was extremely far the first day, but deciding to valet removed that as being a problem for the weekend.”

• Too busy, waited 45 minutes to get car from valet.

“Hotel looks great from the outside and all common areas. rooms are older and out dated, you've got to do more than change the drapes and bed spreads to claim a remodel. Horrible parking, either self parking a literal mile away with luggage or fight the clubbers for valet to check in which takes 45-60 minutes, then another 45 minutes when you want your car back, definitely won't stay there again.”

• Rude and arrogant help.

“From the moment we arrived we had to scratch and claw to get good service at this hotel. The waiters and the restaurants were rude and unattentive. The clerks at the front desk could care less about you. To top it off our truck was broken into in their parking structure and they could care less. First they did not protect my property and then they did not even care to help me rectify the situation. I will never stay at the Planet Hollywood Hotel again!”

• The pool closed early, not family friendly.

“The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We had kids with us and there was not a lot for them to do. We went swimming in the evening; however, the pools close at 8 which seemed a little early. You could not even sit up on the deck and hang after the pool closed. It wasn't a good place for the kids below so to be able to hang on the deck in a safe environment and enjoy the warm weather was nice.”

• Our size room was sold out so they had to upgrade us for free, that was nice. That was the only thing we enjoyed.
• Very poor design, you must walk all the way through the Mile Mall to get from self parking to your hotel room.

“For the price there are much better hotels to stay at on the strip. Not only with better design but with more things to do in the hotel.”

• Planet Hollywood attracts a younger crowd. The casino is the best part of the hotel.
• The buffet is pricey and not really worth the price.

“Planet Hollywood is an excellent hotel. Check-in was a breeze and when we requested a free upgrade we were granted a fountain view room on the 50th floor. The renovations were done and finished. We only saw the awesome casino and the wonderful, spacey room. We didn't get a chance to visit the nightclubs but that wasn't really our thing. All in all I would recommend Planet Hollywood to my friends.”

“Other than a difficult to locate entrance for parking, so we used valet which was as usual a better choice anyway. The hotel was great. We were given a free upgrade to a fountain view of the strip for all the 3 rooms. The buffet was very good and we ate there both nights of our stay. Looking forward to a repeat visit.”

• No locks on the bathroom. It is annoying to have people accidentally walk in while bathing or showering.

“The room was awesome. The only thing wrong with it was that it could have used more closet space and storage for your clothes. The bathroom was terrific. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The location was wonderful. The food options were very poor but it was nice that it was attached to the mall which gave you more variety. The pool was just okay. Some of the rooms are not remodeled and that was the first room we received but then we were switched to an remodeled room for the second night and that was a better experience. Construction made it a noisy hotel at night also.”

• Room service was great but expensive. Pool was not sufficient for how many guest it was to accommodate.
• Inaccessible dining options after 1:00 am, not good for Las Vegas. No microwave or refrigerator. Not good.
