• The staff was really friendly. The rooms were clean and inviting. The lobby and breakfast area were inviting.
• It is located off the road and hard to find.

• I liked the location and pool and the room.
• The breakfast could be upgraded but was ok.

“The hotel is situated right behind the Sunset Casino. The casino is a very nice hotel without the headache of the strip. The hotel had a nice pool shared with the Hampton Inn. Galleria mall is one block over on sunset Blvd. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel was quiet considering its family friendly. Not bad for business travelers. There are many food places available in he area with many 24 hours. The hotel was very clean. Considering they were under a remodeling process, all went well. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“This hotel exceeded our expectations. They provided a microwave and mini-fridge which helped reduce food costs. To top it off, they offered complimentary snacks from 7-9 PM including tasty cookies.”

• The room was nice for an overnight stay, and the chair in the room was comfortable.
• The room was "blah" looking, and too many sweets at the breakfast bar (seemed to target children).

“Next time I stay in the Vegas area I will go to the strip. We rented the room for convenience to the same boy stadium, we thought it was closer. The room suited our needs for one night in town.”

• The hotel management and front desk staff are spectacular. Friendly, extremely helpful, genuine.
• No wireless Internet in rooms.

• They did not give me my wake up call until 4:45a.m when I specifically asked to be woken up at 4:00a.m.

“Unfortunately I reserved a room with 2 beds but upon arrival I was told I had a room with 1 king bed, there were 4 of us traveling together. The hotel said they would give a rollaway for free that still left someone on the floor. The hotel staff took a room from someone else who had not paid and gave us a kids suite, 1 king and bunk beds, which worked perfectly.”

• We had to keep asking for things that the cleaning staff forgot to put in the room.

“A good location, off the main part of the street. The best part is you do not hear other people, there was a baseball team staying there (teenagers) and we did not know it until they were getting ready to leave.”

“Very nice place to stay, complementary dinner for NASCAR weekend, great complementary breakfast, cookie hour, nice room, good internet. Parking was a problem, we were towing a boat and as they filled up that night they asked us to move to a back street. Pool was closed; it is also shared with the adjacent hotel.”

“This hotel was difficult to find but it was great once I got there. They had a barbeque for race fans the night after I checked out and still invited me to go to it, which I did. The staff was genuinely friendly, not phony or defensive, great experience overall and I would go there again in a heartbeat.”

• They upgraded us to a kid suites room for free.
• Some of the breakfast items did not taste very good, especially the cheese omelet.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The room was very nice, comfortable beds, very clean, nice environment. I would definitely stay at another holiday inn express in a second. We were especially impressed by the kid suite room, a separate room to accommodate our children with bunk beds, separate TV, kitchen area. Overall, we were very, very happy with our stay and especially pleased with our deal.”

• Great selection for the breakfast. Loved the cookies at night!
• Although I liked the cleanliness of not having comforters on the beds, I would have like a thicker blanket or extra in the closet.

“I have stayed in many hotels throughout the years and this is definitely one of my top choices for accommodations! The decor was comforting, the rooms were spacious, the staff was friendly and informative and the cleanliness was A+++! I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked the room and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. We were extremely impressed with the lobby area and the room. The service was exceptional! Although we live in Las Vegas, we like to take little overnight "trips" to local hotels with our daughter as mini-vacations. This one was by far one of the best and we will definitely be back!”

• The bed I had was one of the worst beds I have slept in at any hotel I have stay at.

“The bed again was terrible; I stayed at another holiday inn express in Belen nm. And they had awesome beds. I didn't like the fact the pool was so far from the hotel itself, people traveling doesnt want to walk a 1/4 mile for the pool.”

• Pool located far away. We were provided with a King Size Bed even though we had requested for 2 Queens.

• From night clerk to maid service all was above expectation!
• Found a (1) bug in our room, but that could be found anywhere.

“Night clerk and entire staff were helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was above expectation with variety and plenty of good tasting items. Hotel was clean and quiet. We experienced a good stay and would try to use this hotel again in the future.”

• Accommodations appeared rather new or newly refurbished. Everything was clean.
• A little offs the beaten path, but I didn't mind. The directions were good.

“For someone who is looking for a clean room for a night's sleep, this hotel is very good. I would have preferred to pay less for my one-night visit, and I have paid less for virtually identical accommodations at the same hotel chain, but I suppose the market, or my failure to make early reservations, support the higher price I paid.”

• Person at the desk was so very helpful! I liked having a inside as well as a parking side entrance.
• The pool was at the hotel across the parking lot. It would be helpful if there were trays to take food to my room at breakfast.

• The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was actually good!
• Business Office wasn't very good.

“The suite we stayed in was awesome: fridge, micro, two desks and free internet. Conveniently located close enough to The Strip to visit, but not so close you have to be in Las Vegas. We had everything we needed right by us and didn't have to pay casino prices for everything. The free breakfast was varied every morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their business office left a bit to be desired, but overall I'd give our experience an A!”

• The staff is absolutely top-drawer. Every single person was great.
• Hard to do, lack of wireless internet in the rooms is all I can think of.

“This place does everything right. Attitudes are over the top. Breakfast is generous and well delivered. Cookies at night top it off. Everyone speaks. Very "homey". The shortcoming of no wireless internet was overcome by the manager coming to our room personally with a cat-5 cable and plugging it in -- because she knew that the placement of the plug in the wall would be difficult if she did not help us find it. Who could ask for more?”

• The breakfast was very good. I liked the little goodie bag when we arrived.
• The noisy children upstairs from our room and our in-laws room. They were jumping around after 10pm. The nonfat milk was sour.

“I would rate this hotel highly for cleanliness and convenience for parking and access to the main floor room. It was very noisy above us until way too late however. We luckily had earplugs but it kept my father in law awake until after 11.”

• While I was there the manager gave me a great rate for additional rooms for extra guests.
• No indoor pool.

“The staff was fabulous to us. They were very family oriented. We extended a few extra days. The rooms were very clean and the business center was open 24/7. I would recommend the holiday inn express to anybody.”
