“Overall the motel was fine for the price. The rooms were older but the bed was comfortable.” Sep 25, 2008 by

“Hotel staff was very nice and customer service oriented. The room was clean, comfortable, and the right temperature. Also, quiet. Mattresses and pillows were fine (which is important to a person like me with a back that acts up). Plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. A nice place to stay the night.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Anita from Apo, AE
“Great place as far as convenience and location and the rooms are great and it was quiet.” Jun 30, 2008 by
Poly from Waverly, WV
“From the virtual tour this hotel presented itself well. However, this hotel was quite a disappointment. Upon entering the hallway, the smell almost knocked you over. There were candy wrappers and peanut shells all over the hallway (for 2 days). We found a cock roach in the room and the pool floor was slimy.” Jun 10, 2008 by
Margaret from Kennedyville, MD
“It was clean and a nice place to stay for the night.” May 27, 2008 by

“Room was clean. Even though it was a non-smoking room, there was a hint of smoke smell. The staff was friendly and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.” May 3, 2008 by
Pat from Green Bank, WV
“It is closed to restaurants, fast food places and a lot of places to tour. It is close to the hospital. It was clean and the people were friendly and courteous. We had a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to others.” Mar 9, 2008 by
Edith from West Columbia, VA
“I will stay here again it is close to the hospital and anything I needed I had.” Dec 12, 2007 by

“Good location close to a large shopping area with many places to eat.” Mar 24, 2007 by

“Nice. Good price for a hotel with an indoor pool.” Jun 26, 2006 by
Cathy from Newark, DE
“The staff at the desk were friendly and informative. However, one of the two rooms reserved was substandard having filthy linens, and old food and coffee/grounds in appliances, the mirror had children hand prints all over it, it was not dusted or vacuumed and the beds were not properly made. The staff informed us that the maintenance man "refused" to repair the heater for the advertised "heated" pool. Despite having an joining door the two rooms were not adjoining location was ideal for the purpose of college orientation. This hotel has the potential to have been given very high marks overall, however the two staff (housekeeping and maintenance) that did not do their work caused the overall grade for this hotel to be far less than except able for just about any potential customer. I am sure that I will be in town again in the future I will certainly look for other accommodations I am sorry that it turned out this way. Finally when I told the desk staff about the poor quality of our stay there was no compensation offered. This tells me that they were not willing to try to get my business again. Because of this I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I wish it had been otherwise because it does have the potential.” Jun 14, 2006 by
Tracy from Morgantown, WV
“I called ahead of time to make sure the pool would be open. My only criteria was an indoor pool. They assured me it was. After I got there and checked in, I found out the pool was closed for repairs. Very disappointing. The rooms were clean. The continental "breakfast" consisted of mini muffins, stale bread, and that's it. Nothing to drink. The waffle iron was on, but there was no batter. And this was almost an hour before it scheduled to end. The girl at check-in was very helpful, the gentleman at check-out rude and surly.” Jun 10, 2006 by
Terry from Proctor, WV
“Friendly staff, clean, quiet, comfortable.” May 14, 2006 by
Carol from Lawton, MI
“I liked my short stay at this hotel. Everything met my expectations. The only thing I was not happy with was the cable television. There were only about 12 channels. I have stayed at other hotels in the area at lower cost with better selection of cable channels.” Apr 12, 2006 by
Lisa from Toronto
“Stayed for 4days-3nights, not once did housekeeping cleaned room .Afternoon front desk staff rude, very unhelpful. Manager disinterested in any/all comments. Good breakfast. Double check bill for charges. We were charged cash for roll away bed that wasn't on bill but Front Desk did accept cash.” Mar 29, 2006 by
Nicol from Augres, MI
“The hotel was clean and friendly but needs a little more up dating. If you need good sleep go somewhere else because the heaters in the rooms are very loud. Over all it was an okay stay.” Hotel Representatives:
