“The hotel was adequate for our needs, it was an overnight stay that was convenient. The location was excellent and easy to get to all the places we needed to go.” Feb 20, 2009 by

“This hotel is mostly for elderly people. The hotel feels like your in a hospital or a old folks home.” Oct 21, 2008 by
Steve “My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Summit. The room was very clean, and cleaned daily. The room was also quiet. The staff was friendly. This hotel is surrounded by beautiful, exquisitely landscaped homes in a very upscale neighborhood. I had beautiful, safe jogs through the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this hotel with its free hours d’oeuvres and cocktail hour on Tuesday afternoons, and wonderful complimentary breakfasts.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Leandro from Miami Beach, FL
“Very old building with some charm. Very well located and with a restaurant with a lot of space for improvement.” Jan 16, 2008 by
Kim from Colesville, MD
“Beautifully kept, staff was very friendly and helpful, lovely historical atmosphere and very conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Summit, where lots of shops, restaurants, and the train stain are located. We had a wonderful stay!” Sep 11, 2007 by
Heather from Concord, MA
“First, there is a $10 a night unexpected charge for parking. That aside, the hotel was a pretty period-style brick building and the breakfast buffet was nice. The rooms were older, but updated and well cared for. However, there were weddings both nights and the crowds milled around the lobby drunkenly, harassing my husband as he unloaded the car after we returned late in the evening with our infant. The lobby staff was very discourteous about handling the unexpected parking charge of 10 bucks a night. I actually don't think one front desk person smiled at me all weekend.” Jun 28, 2007 by

“I was in Summit to look for a place to live and now I know where family and friends can stay if they don't stay with me. Great staff who was helpful and friendly and even gave suggestions on where to look for a home! Its a mere 7 minute walk into town and the train to NYC. Restaurant has both pricey and affordable food that is satisfying. Don't miss the breakfast in the morning (it comes with the room price) its full service buffet with all the trimmings. Don't stay anywhere else or you'll regret it.” Jan 4, 2007 by
