“Price was great for the size of the rooms. Location was right in the middle of everything, short drive to all the sights. Pool was small, but cozy and rarely crowded.” May 29, 2008 by
Megan from Rockford, IL
“It was right on the highway which in one way was nice because it was close to the beach & attractions. But on the other hand it would take forever to get out of there, impossible to turn left onto the highway. Maid used my friends phone for 7 minutes while cleaning the room when she was roaming which cost her. 07 cents a minute. We were there for 4 nights, and by the vending machine there were beer cans there never picked up. Maybe one friendly person out of the whole crew. Pool was not kept up. I would not recommend to stay here.” Aug 4, 2007 by
Nic from Hiawatha, IA
“This was the worst hotel experience I have had in some time. Location is horrible, not in the heart of myrtle beach but on the outskirts. Have to drive everywhere and trying to get in and out of the hotel via highway 17 is impossible. There is no shuttle and to make matters worse at night, the hotel decides not to maintain proper lighting, so all of the entrance lights are out and you can't find the hotel. Rooms are nothing special and staff is very unfriendly. Do not stay at this hotel.” Jul 8, 2007 by
Brandy from Greensboro, NC
“The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. However, they advertise online that there is a shuttle that travels to Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing. This does not exist! It is hard to turn into the hotel. But they did have a nice breakfast buffet!” Apr 13, 2007 by
Michael C. from Huntersville, NC
“It was a good stay.” Jun 2, 2006 by
Christie from Stafford, VA
“The front desk staff were great they helped me insured that I had a room because I was not able to check in on the original date planned but they took very good care of me and my guest. I was just disappointed with the room set up overall. I didn't like the fact that when we need fresh clean towels that their were none to be found. The note on the walls, tables telling the guest that the hotel was not up to standards did not set well with me and my guest. I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express in the past and this one was the worst I have ever seen.” May 2, 2006 by
Castonia D. from Sioux Falls, SD
“This hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn Express. It hasn't met HIE criteria; and therefore, this hotel currently doesn't have a sign reflecting the hotel name. As you can imagine, no hotel sign caused at least an hour of delay in reaching the hotel.” Hotel Representatives:
